You ask the tradesman statue if the difficulty of Bunker X is static, or if it scales for whatever's sent in.

"It is static," the statue replies. "The challenges that lie within are determined before you ever enter. The difficulty will increase with each floor, but it will not change based on who you send inside."

You ask if this is actually a tradesman, or just a mouthpiece.

"This statue is merely an outlet for safe and easy communication. I am a genuine tradesman speaking through it, however."

You ask the statue if you can ask the kind of questions you'd normally ask a tradesmen, or if it's limited to questions about this bunker.

"I am limited to only discussing Bunker X. I apologize if that's inconvenient."

You ask why the statue resembles a door.

"I cannot say with certainty," says the voice from the statue. "Perhaps it is one, locked for a special occasion."

You ask if time inside this bunker progresses at the same speed as it does outside.

"It does," replies the statue. "There was discussion of having time move differently to make Bunker X more convenient for your schedule, but it was pointed out that having access to a structure where time flows at a varied pace could grant you a slew of other, additional advantages. ...So the idea was discarded."

You ask how you'll know what the exit looks like.

"It will be another elevator door. From there, you can choose to proceed to the following floor, or to return to this one."

You ask if anyone's ever attempted this before.

"You are the first," the statue says. "In fact, the gauntlet of challenges was designed specifically for you and your group. Before it was renovated, this bunker served a very different purpose."

You give the statue a hug, and thank the tradesman for their help.

You and your allies enter the elevator.

It's a short ride, the lights in the elevator flickering as it takes you downward.

The door opens.

Shit, I think we overprepared.

The original spider died from a chair to the head by a rather thin nurse. I think Michelle can just fire into the crowd, and Caius can finish off any that remain by stomping on it.

Might not even need to waste ammo on these ones. I say just kick them, and save the ammo for real monsters.

Oh hey, I remember that guy! Much easier to deal with now that we have Michelle with a machine gun. I say we just let loose with the guns.

We *could* try to blood one of them so we have a head spider, actually-- that would be cool to have. The Tradesmen didn't say anything about not being allowed to take the monsters out of the bunker, right? Maybe they qualify as the "rewards."

Oh, yeah that sounds like a good idea! (also these things will be so much easier to take down now that we aren't only armed with a stringe, some towels, and some bandages)

Man, these were literally the first actual monster we faced. Or saw atleast.

No way this should be hard yeah? Kinda wondering if we should even waste the bullets.

Easy beans, Melee it, save ammo. We can cure small wounds, we can't cure lost bullets

We could, in theory, make bone bullets, but that would mess up a gun if we don't do it right. So, yeah, best not to try "curing lost bullets".

While it's nice the floor looks easy, remember that whole hubris thing. They aren't the exact same head spiders as in the hospital (following RPG logic, they're a different color and so tougher). Getting us to drop our guard only to find out they're poisonous would be a bad, bad thing.

At the very least let Michelle unload a volley into the lot of them. Should be super cathartic for her.

Quick EDIT: Oh, and now that we're in here, try and contact Dr. Finch. See if our abilities are blocked on that front. Also when we've cleared this room, we should also test pulling from the red to make sure it's the same as well.

And... Really, I wasn't expecting to see one of this guys again XD. We are REALLY overprepared.

The hair color is different.

Don't we have any melee weapons?

Fuse can torch. Caius and Michelle can place kick. Bloodied one would have some advantage since we can learn. It really does look like an advanced version of our bandage golem.

At some point, we may want to ask if they can tell us what was in this bunker beforehand, and maybe if it counts as one of the official Z50 bunkers.
