You thank the girls for the information, and you return to your body in the hall.

You... definitely feel the exhaustion. You feel like you've been working out all day--even gathering the energy to walk is a little tough.

You force your way back to the Bunker A lab, and report what you've figured out: that your imprint form, even with focus, isn't as strong as ghosts affected by Experiment Odin are. You... are starting to think you could handle duplicating Incident F, and expanding your ghost-self through all of Bunker E. From there, you could potentially "squeeze" Faraday back to normal, and still understand how to bring yourself back together.

"That sounds risky as hell," Michelle replies.

"Seriously," Fuse adds. "That's gambling a lot on the thing that put Faraday in her current situation."

"I... believe she can do it," Dr. Finch finally answers. He gets a few skeptical glances from the others. "She has a thorough enough grasp of her own identity--her sense of self, as it were--to come back from extensive disassociation. She's done it before, yes? Yes. This is a different kind of disconnection, but... the mental fortitude required should be similar."

"We do have a ritual for strengthening imprints," Fuse says. "We should try that first, at the very least... see if Blondie can handle that before we go turning her into an EM field."

"Might not help all that much," Caius suggests. "Calloway went from, what... whisperin' one message, to tellin' tha whole thing. It didn't jump 'em up to Edison levels or nothin'."

"He's got a point," Michelle concedes. "The ghost boostin' ritual might not really do all that much on a ghost that's already pretty strong."

"I'd still prefer to be cautious," Fuse responds. "After everything we've lived through already, I don't wanna blow it all on a botched ghost experiment. We can't get cocky yet."

This requires a fresh day. Before this day is out a conversation with the two girls about Edison, how we came to hold her, and if seeing Faraday on a screen is enough to calm her.

Finding out if Edison is good for support is the goal, and if we should let her out into containment. The support may help with Faraday, if it is there.

Since we're starting to approach the Faraday problem in earnest, I do feel like it's time to approach the sisters about Edison.

"Where is Edison?"
"In time out. Indefinitely."
Terrac 1st May 2018, 4:17 PM edit delete reply
Yep. Edison needs to come out sometime, and the two sisters should help her calm down

Fuse has a point. We can't get careless just because things have been going well - the Nil spell showed that this stuff is still dangerous.
That said, whether we should do it now is debatable - do we even have enough energy left for any more ghost escapades?

Jane's exhausted right now, but perhaps we can solve that. We gave Caius a ton of energy during that fight with Painiac, after all. If we can "cure" fatigue at the physiological level, we could keep this up all day.

Check what the others got done.

Then determine if we've got anything left in us for other tasks or if we should just chill/sleep the rest of the day (it might seem like a waste of a day, but if we're going to tackle the Faraday problem, we'll need to be at 100% when/if we duplicate the Odin Experiment).

EDIT: Oh hey, if we've got nothing better to do, now would be a great time to check in with our Red. Aside from discussing recent events, maybe try and make a back-up plan in case the Faraday affair prevents us from immediately returning to our body.
Also discussing the finer points of, "folding," with Mom's Red could be warranted.

Yeah, we’ve gotta take it slow for the next day and a half. Sometime in the early afternoon tomorrow do the ritual and see how easy it is to return to our body with a stronger ghost - after that, we can replicate experiment F.

take Edison to her cell and release her with the watchful eyes of Tesla.
And tell her about Faraday.

Thought it might be best to tell the team about the "thought" first.
ALSO read you favorite web comic.

"I'd still prefer to be cautious" says the guy who's probably the most exited about bunker X.

Looking at how tired Jane is getting, it's probably for the better that she doesn't do any more astral projection today. Perhaps we should do something else.

Let's take it easy for the rest of the day, nothing of coming out of our body XD. Jane is exhausted.
For now, Let's talk with our Red about this experiment and make some plans, with Mom's Red to ask everything we need about folding, and make new bone armors with the help of Michelle.
The rest of the group can go and do their own things XD.

Finally read through the whole archive. Just needed a week or was it longer? A lot of the ideas that came to me while reading are now obsolete. Except these ones: Buy a lot of bioprinters and trade them up. Trade up a few container biopaste.
