You tell Tesla that if she wants anything, you can try to get it for her. You have to go for now, but you'll be back later. She nods from under the blanket.

You head back into the main hall, then to the archive room to have a look at the weird screen.

You sync Fuse and Dr. Finch, and use Fuse's tools to start examining the inside of the device. It appears to be wired into the walls of the bunker--you suspect it may have been intended to test what the ghosts were capable of. Edison was able to take over a PA system--if these wires run back to an input in or near the ghosts' respective rooms, the idea may have been for them to practice "taking over" the monitor.

There's also an odd... antennae... receiver-like object, probably meant to take interference from the atmosphere. Investigating further into the screen, it looks like it's been overloaded--there's a number of burnt parts inside, with a few having been blown out entirely. You suspect Faraday tried to tap into the feed to communicate, but being made of so much power now, she was more than the screen could handle.

Of course, the parts comprising this screen are all very, very old. Modern versions of these same parts are reinforced and better protected against power surges. Further, you can spy a few places where the incoming power could be funneled or channeled off a bit to keep the screen from taking more than it can handle.

You believe a brief shopping trip to a hardware or electronics store could get you what's necessary to fix this thing up, and possibly put you in communication with Faraday directly. You spent most of the day working on an arm and talking to Jury, though--it's probably dark out by now, and you doubt any store like that is still open.

Well, I guess we already have plans for tomorrow

Before we leave, let's check on Faraday and Tesla to say bye. Let's wait with the new parts for tomorrow.

Time zones, though. Do we know if the City is on the east coast or the west coast or somewhere in the middle? 'Cause, we may only need to wait a couple of hours to be able to catch a Southden store just as it's opening up if we're still on City time.

Regardless, if it's that late we might as well go to sleep and just get an early (for Jane) start tomorrow when everything will be open.

If we're going to be shopping, a kid's play tent would be ideal for Tesla. Seems like she wants a little more privacy, so a barrier that isn't smothering her might be helpful.

Get stuff to overclock the GhostTazer too.

Does Tesla want someone to stay with her overnight, or is she gonna be okay? Does she need a nightlight? (I mean, she's made of electricity, so I guess she kinda *is* a nightlight, but y'know.) Now that she's awake, I feel bad just leaving her there in a bare room... Assuming she doesn't want to go back into the canister to sleep, I guess we should just see if she's okay with staying by herself overnight, and we'll hopefully be able to get her some more stuff for her room tomorrow to make it more comfortable.

I think Tesla needs both some alone time and some cognizant time. For all we know, from her perspective there was the Faraday incident, her being put into a canister, and then suddenly us just appearing a moment later. She might not have had a proper amount of time to grieve over Faraday (despite 100 years having passed).

Incidentally, this might be the reason Edison is so ticked off too. Letting her out so she can mellow might be a good thing; just not before we can readily convince her Faraday is not dead (for a ghost) and that we're actively working to fix her.

I guess bid Tesla goodnight and head back to the bunker. We can introduce Dr. Finch and Elizabeth (unfortunately not Fuse due to his leg) later when a bigger crowd might be less intimidating.

Move the soul gun and the X-box(TM) to the Mars bunker for safe keeping just in case Thale raids that warehouse at any time.

Then I guess sleepy-time.

We also have that Eletrical cable near the plant-man's room in the Mars Bunker to fix. Might as well see what we need to do that and get what we need for ALL of our electrical repairs at the same time.

See 540. It was repaired.
