You send Caius in to take a look at one of the stores, see if it's any different from the shops at home, and to see if the clerks here take your country's money.

You also discuss infiltrating the dome with Dr. Finch, sitting out with the motorcycle while you wait.

"The entrance I saw was being guarded by three police officers," Dr. Finch says. "There's a chance the same dome may have less enforced entrances, but I wouldn't bet on it. Given our situation, even getting the attention of the police could be disastrous."

You bring up the possibility of approaching the dome from underground.

"That... could work," Dr. Finch replies. "The occupants of the domes need air and water just like anyone else, even if theirs is scrubbed more thoroughly. If these sub levels run beneath the domes, that could be an option."

You wonder out loud how far down the sub levels go.

"Not much deeper than this, I don't imagine," replies Dr. Finch. "I haven't seen any roads plunging further into the depths. If there's anything below us, I'm sure it's purely for maintenance purposes."

Caius emerges from the store, climbing back onto the motorcycle. "How ya gonna run a smoke shop that don't sell cigars? What's tha point, even?"

You ask Caius about the money.

"Oh, hell no," he says. "Guy at tha counter said he gets that all tha time, we gotta take it to a bank or an airport to get it switched out for their fancy lady money."

As Caius gets the motorcycle back on the road, you suggest to Michelle and Fuse that they start salvaging parts from Ilworth.

"Already on it," Fuse says.

"Yeah, we started smashin' stuff a while back," adds Michelle. "I thought we could stow Z and the gang in one of these houses, but the water an' stuff's shut off, so... we're workin' on that Jury list. Good news is, if we wanna throw a party there's plenty of places we can trash and not feel bad."

"Having access to ancient, totally unowned cars is nice, I gotta say," Fuse comments. "Some of the stuff on that list just isn't put in cars anymore."

I guess head back, arrange lunch/dinner (however long we've spent here) and start planning for how we want to go about infiltrating the domes.

We in essence have no money for bribery until we get the currency exchanged (and even if we go that route, we'll have to bribe MULTIPLE police at a time). If we go forged documents route the motorcycle is unlicensed so we'd have to get a LOT of forging done (and again done back home, we can't pay for proper forgeries in-country). We've got no contacts in Southden so we'd have to do all our investigating manually for infiltrating the sub-levels to get in the domes (which would look suspicious by itself).
In short, I'm not really sure we should pursue the book just yet. The trap may just be us trying to fumble our way in and getting easily caught by the local police. It may be best to wait for Jury or Lydia/Grizwald to find a contact to help us.
We've still got plenty on our plate aside from everything Bunker E related.

Motorcycle needs time and an id it can be legally registered under.

Just nice to be able to Do something and not have to be running for their lives for it.
See if there's any tourist areas as they shouldn't be as tight about security there and may even have guided tours of such places as the library.
on Ancient cars see if any of them might be able to be put back into use via cannibalizing the others.

Don't suppose there was a map of the underground mixed in with the brochures/pamphlets?
Would be a decent place to start planning.

Fancy lady money, eh?
I fully expect Elizabeth 2 to still be ruling Queen, half cybernetised if necessary.

"Magic" being what it is, wouldn't be surprised if the queen actually does have some sort of phylactery keeping her alive.
Hm. Actually, we might want to do something like that ourselves in the future.

Team Southden: Look into tourism - there may be a way into the dome with a tour guide.

Team Ilworth: Check for money in the gloveboxes and cup holders while taking parts from the cars, see if there's enough for... anything. Luck willing, we might be able to scrounge together enough to pay for the aforementioned tour guide without needing to go to the bank to exchange cash.

We have our own town... worth thinking about.

We should spend some time online hunting up local laws, then we re-start this town.

First off, we need 'local law enforcement'. Find out what the rules are for incorporated vs unincorporated towns (the one that lets us keep more paperwork local, the better.) Then, we set up a building as a local clinic (we include a nurse and a doctor, so shouldn't be hard to make it legitimate), then make birth records for everybody there. Then we act like the towns always been still active, just reclusive.

We're playing "Blood Is Mine", not "Banished: The Blood DLC", as awesome as that would be.

I'm saying it's going to be a lot easier to appear legal if we're pseudo-legal, and we just about have the resources to pull it off. At which point, if it gets found out, we can whip up some story about a government official being a slacker and never reporting anything before he died of old age (just living off an easy paycheck without anyone checking on him that he was doing nothing)... blame a weak link in the chain, then their own government would try to correct the matter and actually provide legitimate passports and IDs. Besides, it'd be an easier story to sell than "Hey, we're all part of a team helping a huggable half-elder god to overthrow a mind-controlling corporation, and we came here through a police box."
