Dr. Finch catches up to Caius.

You ask Caius if he's okay.

"Uh, yeah," he replies. "Dunno what it is. I'm more nervous around these guys than I was Edison."

"N-no... no no no, I'm experiencing that, as well," says Dr. Finch, pointing a shaking finger. "It's the the the environment, I suspect. The ghosts aren't manifesting physically, the ambient energy is playing off of our cortices to make us experience them. It would explain why the golem didn't see the ghosts--it lacked the circuitry, so to speak. I'm working off a second hand account of notes I haven't personally read, but if I had to speculate... the experiments here made the area more conducive to imprints, but also seems to make us more capable of witnessing the imprints."

"So they ain't real?," asks Caius.

"Oh, they very much are," responds Dr. Finch. "The way a song is real to those that can hear it."

Caius keeps his eyes forward, watching one of the ghosts fade in and out. "What's that make Edison, then? She was grabbin' people, movin' objects around an' all that."

"Well," Dr. Finch says, "if you increase the bass enough, a song can blow out windows."

"Hey," Caius says, waving at the ghost. "We wanna help your ghost friend. We need to know more about, uhhh..."

"Incident F," Dr. Finch finishes, "and Experiment Odin."

"Site One doesn't care...," says the ghost. "They just want results... the other girls... they know... they blame us... it's our fault... it's all our fault..."

"Hmm," says Dr. Finch. "Hm hm hm. The ghosts seem consistent, but there's not much there--a bit like a recording, just looping a very emotionally troubled moment forever."

"Might be other ghosts floatin' around," Caius suggests. "Maybe one o' tha others'll talk about what we're lookin' for."

"Not a bad idea," says Dr. Finch, who's still keeping a noticeable distance from the ghost. "One of the the the researchers' inner struggles may have been caught at just the right time, or perhaps one of these imprints will have a bit more... more..."

"Bass," says Caius.

Dr. Finch smiles, albeit nervously. "Yes. That. Precisely."

Did Finch remember to put his phone back in the other bunker? Wanna make sure we don't bring any electronics in here while we question ghosts, or watch replays of ghost-memories, or whatever it is we're doing.

Also, might be a good idea to arm ourselves with a super-soaker, just in case one of the ghosts turns out to be hostile.

Check the other rooms for more ghosts.
Might find something interesting, might not.

Try asking generic questions about the filing and paperwork.

"How were local copies of reports organized?"

"I was sent to sort out files here and make report on if they are in useful order."

And if they ask about who keep it vague.
"There has been a changeover of the brass... She is very concerned ..." "...about the confusing, limited, and vague reports of how test subjects were treated."

Vague soft answers, soft questions on general information that you can get by looking.

If we do this, we ought to be *very careful* about wording things. They are obviously very unhappy about what Site One did. If we imply that we're from Site One, that might aggro them.

If we play it off as "we're investigating abuses of power from management" or something to that effect, though, we might be able to get on better terms.

The term ghost town has taken a very literal feel to it..
I have a bad feeling about what is behind the locked door.

Boy I hope the beams of blue energy aren’t powered by burning a ghost.
