Morgenstern
You bring your flesh golem back through Bunker E. It makes it back to the beginning with no incident. You also pause to get a feel for the environment--as far as you can tell, the atmosphere in Bunker E isn't radioactive. It doesn't seem to be doing anything harmful or destructive to your golem. Caius helps your golem return to Bunker A.

You report your findings, and that you reached a locked door. Someone's going to have to go in. You suggest Caius.

"Caius is still recovering from brain surgery," Fuse says. "I'll go."

"Tha hell ya will," Caius replies. "I'm fine. I got this."

Fuse squints. "The last time we dealt with a ghost, she could lock one of us down with a touch. If you're going in, you're not going in by yourself."

"The front door suggests firmly against electronics, yes?," asks Dr. Finch. "Which may include your leg, unfortunately, and we do not know why that message is posted. Bunker E's environment could be harmful to you, or worse. ...I'll go with Caius."

"Seriously?," Fuse protests.

Caius chuckles, just a little. "Ain't fun gettin' sidelined, is it? I been sittin' on my ass for days."

Fuse sighs, and shakes his head... but he doesn't have an argument. "Fiiine. Just don't get hurt, assholes."

Caius and Dr. Finch empty their pockets of all electronics--particularly cell phones. They also make sure to bring handguns.

"Oh!," Dr. Finch exclaims, pausing on his way out the door. "I almost forgot--we should investigate what lies on the other side of the bunker's entrance."

While you work on putting your eye back in, Fuse steps outside with the other two.

Dr. Finch and Caius enter Bunker E via the magic door. Fuse links the door back to Bunker A, leaving Bunker E's entrance in its default state. Dr. Finch opens the door to see what's normally outside Bunker E.

Caius throws his hands up. "Doc... we ain't got our phones with us. We ain't gonna be able to use GPS to figure out where this is anyway."

"I... don't believe we'll need it," Dr. Finch replies. "Call it wild speculation on my part, but I am quite certain we're in a different country."

Whelp x2, looks like we're not going to be able to get sunny-day ghost. On the bright side (pun not originally intended), that just means it's all the safer for the group.

Let Dr. Finch and Caius ransack their way to the locked door. Barring any special events, Caius can then open said locked door.

Can Finch check what that thingy on the brick wall next to the police box is?
PurpleKetchup 20th Mar 2018, 2:06 PM edit delete reply
It really, really looks like our main bunker door code panel (#439).
Might want to remove a critical part inside so we don't get unwanted visitors for the time being. Also could use a local animal living around there to keep an eye out for us.

Finch: Hum an oddly appropriate scifi TV show theme

Confirmed: the Z50 staff are fking nerds. Assuming this magic door thing isn't some stable phenomena anyway.

So, we should probably find the one ghost around that isn't a homicidal murderer and can help us and didn't get double killed by rape or something

okay so, it looks like we have our way out of the city squared away at least. we do need to investigate around outside and figure out where exactly we are, if we're near any form of civilization, that sort of thing. but it's pretty safe to say that we're somewhere in the UK, judging by that oddly familiar blue box the doctor just popped out of. if we're in or close enough to a populated area, we might be able to figure out how to get our mitts on geoangular control, which we know is being housed somewhere across the ocean from the city.

firstly, let's check out the thing on the wall. hopefully the rain is just plain old rain and not some kind of scary toxic acid rain. don't tarry too long, regardless. don't want to catch a cold.

But which, "The Doctor," is Finch? This is the future, so does that make him the 50th Doctor? XD

It had not occurred to me before you mentioned it, and now I can't stop giggling!

Funny feeling we're somewhere in England right about now.
Anyways, go poke about that blue thing on the right.

Go take a stroll around England Finch.
Golden_Eagle 20th Mar 2018, 4:01 AM edit delete reply
Yay, England! Funnily enough, it isn't raining at the moment.

Take a stroll around England, Finch. Have a nice cup of tea. Enjoy the rain.

I wonder what England looks like in this future.

But anyway, I think Finch and Caius should proceed with caution in the Bunker. We don't want a repeat of what happened with Edison, since it might not go as well this time.

Is that a card reader on the wall?

Take an hour and check Caius's brain and connections. I bet he is right as rain by now, or will be when we fix what isn't.

One of the people who go in need to look for documents on incident F.

I am betting on several more door codes too.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the "No Electronics" sign applied to progressing into the bunker, not to the first room of the bunker, right? Can't we still bring some kind of GPS?

Ah well, a touch late now. I say we grab Baby Red real quick and ask him how far away we are.

I got that feeling too. Electronics in the entry should be fine.

You know what, yeah, let's actually just... grab a GPS and take it with us through the door.
Blue_Elite 20th Mar 2018, 12:44 PM edit delete reply
I'd like to not tempt bringing electronics near the place until Caius is either completely healed or not here. Part of the reason for having him come is the place seems very safe and the poor guy needed to get out of Bunker A for a bit.

Even if the reports say the other two ghosts are either indifferent or friendly, I'd rather not tempt what 100 years might do to a ghost. Just explore for now, and we can look into experimenting with the facility later.
As a plus, we can dump Edison out here as this is specifically her containment place and begin trying to rehabilitate her into... well into a non-murderous being.
PurpleKetchup 20th Mar 2018, 2:09 PM edit delete reply
We could also bring Babyred mk.II, as long as there are no witnesses...
100% free-range, organic GPS !

Damn, MM. You'd really make an awesome DM. Not-really-manly tears shed.

From their notes, they found a ghost that was a conglomerate of (at least 3) personalities, then split them into single entities. They isolated a shy girl (Tesla), best ghostgirl (Faraday) and mischievous Edison.

Then they fucking killed Faraday. Might not have been on purpose, groundbreaking science happens at a price. Her 'sisters' reacted entirely appropriately considering this.

...
I want to release Edison from her canister in her previous room. That's probably what the circular panel on their rooms' panel is for. Faraday's glass wall is busted, but Edison seems intact. I want to communicate with her and help her mourn properly.
We'll have to see if we can find that document 40b, so we learn what kind of sewing stuff she prefers, although she might have linked them with the terrible experiment...

Hug her canister when you have the occasion.
