You have Willard linger for a minute or two, but you don't hear much from either direction.

You bring Willard back to the restroom, then have him slip through the floor drain back into the piping area below.

Faintly, far below the pipes, you hear a group of voices chanting. You can't make out what language it is, but the sound of it makes you uncomfortable.

Is Willard uncomfortable, or is Jane uncomfortable?

Since Willard is not experiencing this discomfort leaving Willard with instructions to stay might be reasonable. Jane then drops her active link and we scout more later.

Cultist activity happening in a secret basement below confirmed.

By the way... any chance we could glimpse what's going on outside the church with that dude who yelled for directions and whatnot, with our kitty? ._.?

We should still have Edgar (raven) keeping tabs at the church.

Just a btw we aren't doing anything with Ceasar (pigeon (possibly the fattest)).

Time for either a hello, bomb on the new pipe, or other disruptive distraction and quickly. That lost guy may be their next experimental baddy or general sacrifice otherwise.

Well, we can be pretty sure we know roughly where the Brain Beast (still calling it that until we confirm it and "The Many" are the same thing (they might be two different abominations)) is. I want to bring Willard back now, but I've got one last concern: Zene's mom.
We might want to go down the blue pipe to see if that chanting has anything to do with her. Mainly I'm concerned she's being prepped with a "blessing of Enyo" in preparation for our coming. If she is, we pretty much need to go RIGHT THIS MOMENT. Otherwise we could continue to take our time and try to arrange a peaceful meeting.

Really wish we had climbing gear for our rat. Ratpelling gear.

This is really interesting. Sure, the blob took us down, but it seems it also took Thale for a nasty trip. We should try to use this.

Do they have a public phone we can call ? E-mail ? Or maybe Zene's mom has a cellphone ? We really need to get in touch with these folks while their mind is clearer than full-on murder mode. Explain the situation.
Not too aggressively - they won't like it if we just tell them their Enyo is just a super rich guy braintalking to them via his secretary. But at least tell them Jane's not the devil, but simply her mother's daughter (with all that this implies) and doesn't want to escalate things against them.

With a bit of luck Crease & Zene will be able to just go there themselves, get the miss out and blood her before Thale can get ahold of her again.

Once the rat is in a safe enough position, ask Dr. Finch if the brown rat had a name. Even if it does not have a body, it deserves a Mars funeral.

Given the lore, probably Big Ben.

I think they're trying to summon us. Tell Willard to stay down there, and inform our friends about what might be happening! This could be disastrous!

i think we should leave now. also, hopefully they're not trying to summon us because that could be uncomfortable and bad.
