You send the raven you had waiting at Rockwell Arcade to go check your house. If it's safe, getting a Baby Red from there may be quicker; however, you suspect your home is likely trapped, or at least being watched by now. The distance between Rockwell and your house is negligible, so it should arrive fairly quickly.

You wait for a break in Caius and Dr. Finch's conversation to ask about Jury S.

"Oh, yeah," Caius starts, as though he'd almost forgotten about it. "She's on her way up north right now. She's pissed about it, but she said she's gotta play ball if she wants to stay in tha loop. She trusts tha guys higher in tha chain, though, so she's prob'ly gonna report some shit when she gets there... see if she can get somethin' done about all the shady biz goin' on here with tha feds in tha city, after they get done makin' sure she ain't compromised. Whatever tha hell that means. So, might be a little while before she's back."

"Not too long, preferably," Dr. Finch adds. "I shudder to think what the locally placed federal agents might be up to without Jury keeping an eye on them. It's been mentioned that Detective Shaw was up to no good, but he may not have been the only one."

You check on Michelle, Zene, and Crease. They are currently in the hummer, and appear to be on their way back.

"We got movies, and we got snacks," Michelle says. "Nothin' crazy goin' on, either--we hit up one of those automated kiosks so we wouldn't have to deal with nobody."

In the time it takes for you to get updated on everything, your raven has arrived at your house.

You don't see anything suspicious

which is suspicious in and of itself.

There are no cars parked in clear view of the house. None. No lights on in neighboring homes. No one out walking around. The whole block is like a ghost town.

It’s a trap!
... That’s my first thought, but how about we have the raven check around, to see if other streets nearby are empty as well. Maybe fly past a few windows, see if anyone is inside our house/houses on the street.
Also, tell Michelle, Zene, and Crease to be on alert, make sure nothing is following them or waiting in ambush.

... Welp, time to ask the MomRed in our base for a baby red. But we could still send a raven in carrying a rat to check what's going on inside. The rat will have to be careful though: don't want it getting hurt.
AveryCross 13th Feb 2018, 7:21 PM edit delete reply
on that topic, we should look into getting another rat if we can. having at least two would not only be convenient, but I'm sure our lil buddy Willard is kinda lonely on his own

nope nope nope nope not going back to the house nope nope nope get the baby red delivered we're not in a rush nope nope
rufiangel 13th Feb 2018, 5:20 PM edit delete reply
I don't think we're in any rush either here, seconding this, really. I mean, we can discuss the eerie emptiness with our pals and what it could mean but not too keen on investigating it further, without a good reason. -v-a

Good idea. Delivery is nice.

I third (fourth?) this sentiment.
Let's not go anywhere near that place. Somebody might as well have drawn a big bullseye there.
pkrankow 13th Feb 2018, 5:18 PM edit delete reply
The whole block shouldn't be deserted. Seems fishy.

Im pretty sure the whole neighborhood has been queened, i think home is off limits at this point
Frission 13th Feb 2018, 10:09 PM edit delete reply
Have the raven inconspicuously peek into the windows of the neighbor houses. See if it can see anyone hanging out inside watching our house.
Memo 14th Feb 2018, 8:49 PM edit delete reply
That will be difficult, considering that we sent a raven. They rarely frequent the middle tiers. We should probably have sent a pigeon instead..

Jane lives in the upper tiers.

A bird landing in a tree isn't going to raise any eyebrows. :P Nobody's going to come to the conclusion 'my god, that raven is watching me, it must be a spy!' >_> I know we want to be careful but sometimes the paranoia can get a bit preposterous.
Blue_Elite 14th Feb 2018, 1:14 AM edit delete reply
That's Poe for those keeping score (Allan is at Zene/Crease's house and Edgar is at the Enyo Church).

Stay safe Jury. Hope we don't need to form a rescue party against the feds.

Really don't want to risk the raven on curiosity. If it can get some glances into windows on its way back to the arcade fine; but I'd rather not risk losing a raven, and our animal spy secret, on the matter.

I guess we chill until they get back. Wait for a response from Fuse.
Also we probably need a sweet movie-watching setup. We can use the flatscreen TV/monitor setup we had for the remote camera. Maybe make some seats/cushions out of bed rolls/pillows from the Mars location. Perhaps make a fort. ^_^

I second all of this!

Yeeeaaaahhhh I don't think going home would be a good idea any time soon. Especially not today since its meant to be a calm day.
Guest 14th Feb 2018, 10:39 AM edit delete reply
The coast is super clear, lets go!
Madd 15th Feb 2018, 3:53 AM edit delete reply
Hmm, have the raven look in the window of someone's house and then head back to the arcade.

Set up a proper movie setup in the the bunker, steal the pillows and blankets from mars.

Ask Fuse if he has anyway to speed up his door decrypter.

Then chill and watch some movies.

today is a lazy day. we've got time.

Have the raven fly around the neighborhood to check how far away this evacuation or whatever extends.
pkrankow 16th Feb 2018, 9:07 AM edit delete reply
This is a good idea. Stay away from windows, but see what can be seen.
