You give Michelle Macland's phone number. She steps outside to call him.

"Yeah?," he answers.

"We need your hospital," is all she says.

"Well, I mean, technically it's not mine, I--"

"Mac," Michelle says, "I will crush your head like a grape. Now's not the time."

There's a brief pause before Macland responds. "Okay. What do you need?"

"Surgery room, stuff prepped for brain surgery before we get there, no questions."

Macland pauses again. "Alright, I'll call it in. I'll tell them to keep it discreet, but I'm warning you--I don't know how many eyes Patton's got in that hospital. Watch your backs. Tell your friend... I... look, I'm--"

"You wanna apologize, do it when we ain't got somebody dyin'. You still got a ways to go to get off my shit list, Mac."

"...Yeah. I deserve that."

Michelle hangs up the phone, updates you, and begins loading the body into the back of her truck. You inform Dr. Finch and Fuse, and you all work to get Caius into the hummer. You continue to work on keeping him stable on the way to the hospital.

"Yo," Michelle says simply as she walks into the lobby. "Surgery."

The nurse nods. "I can lead you to the operating theater, we were informed of your arrival and everything should be ready."

"I'll help move Caius's new body there," Michelle says, "but where you want me an' Fuse after that? I'd put good money on our buddies tryin' to pull somethin' while we're here."

Do they both have phones? If so we should have one watch the front and one watch the back while constantly on the phone with eachother. If they don't then they should find a point where anyone who wants to have to interfere will have to go through and wait there.

It's a start, Mac. It's a start. At least you're doing some good, for once.

Anyways. Michelle, stand guard and make sure nobody tries to start shit. I don't want anyone to bring bullshit down on us during this critcally important matter. Fuse, if you can, scour the internet to see if you can find the page or pages of Geoangular Control that has the spell that'd allow us to swap minds between two bodies. I want to make sure we have something to actually fucking fall back on in case the surgery plan hits a few more hitches than anticipated.

"I will crush your head like a grape." Michelle baby boo. I love you

So much I want to say on this update and the last but for now I'll just suggest Michelle and Fuse stay in the hummer somewhere discreet, near the hospital, to keep a lookout.

Michelle belongs in the actual surgical room itself, to ward off any unwanted people from entering. Fuse could stay in the observation room, if he'd like. Especially if he can set fires through glass, y'know?

As for ourselves, I guess we don't have to be in the surgical room, but we're still a nurse. We should offer it, at the very least.

Caius and Finch should probably be in the surgery room, too :P

EDIT: Hey, also, we should probably blood Caius' new body before we do anything else.

From what Michelle says, I think it's clear that Jane has to be in the surgery room with Dr. Finch. Michelle and Fuse do not have to be and probably shouldn't be, in my opinion. They can be right outside it if need be. Everyone is extremely tired - Dr. Finch and Jane especially need all the focus they can get.

Michelle can stand guard right outside the surgery-room door. We can mentally call her if we need her to rush in. Otherwise it puts her in a good position to run to the lobby and try to head off trouble or otherwise move around near us.

Fuse should sit in the car outside and keep a lookout. His fire abilities are going to be lackluster in a hospital with a likely functional fire suppression system (not to mention his bum leg puts him at a mobility disadvantage). Outside allows him to do his thing without threatening the building/the building dampening his ability and the Hummer will offer plenty of protection (as it did when we tried to kill the driver before).
It also allows Fuse to warn Michelle where they're coming in from (the front door, the roof, going around the back, etc.) and reposition her accordingly.

Quick Edit: Let's get a raven to watch the back/top of the building. We really, really do not want them to cut the power to the building. I'm hoping we can still setup a blood alarm with our current level of mental stress. If we can MOVEMENT AT THE WATCHED LOCATIONS should be a good signal to give a quick look through the raven and update Fuse/Michelle accordingly.

EDIT: Forgot in this world buildings are powered wirelessly. So just look out for surprise attacks.

Coffee Everyone. We can do that. Do it.
Ask them to look in to Fuse's leg while there, scan everyone who was in a suit for radiation exposure.
Ask all staff present to say 'Patton Thale' say it is a door password or something.
Have any handy raven on sentry duty, blood alarm for Michelle saying 'trouble'.

Oh dang you're right, The Thale Key is a good idea. Keeps the REALLY evil ones out.

Remember to level Finch for the surgery. He needs to be calm.

You can keep SOME blood in Caius' brain but remember need to blood the new body to make sure you have enough blood to do what you need to during surgery.

Hoo boy.
Just caught up, and my medical side is kind of getting the twitchery. But hey!

What I mean is that I had thought of partially slowing down his biology using a semi-open cryo chamber, which would allow Jane's Red to better operate with all of the processes running at a slower rate.

Radiation is just loose energy, so in order to stop the radiation, you'd just have to run something past the areas to absorb it. I imagine that industries would have nuclear activity as a focus if not now, then in the past, and have made some kind of radiation removing substance.

The damage to the body could then be repaired at a much-reduced rate, as a bio-printer would easily allow for damaged organs to be repaired. Not only that, but the Red capacities for medical intervention would practically throw the concept into a 100% success rate for the repair of his original body.

Cause if you need to take a break, just crank the cryo up the rest of the way, then back down to operating levels when the break is over.

But hey. If we're gonna be jumping the cat biscuit, here we go.
(actual bakery biscuit, not anything else, and cat was not a reference to MM, it is just something I say on occasion)
