Morgenstern
You level Fuse, and you inform Caius of what's going on. Caius casually steps out of the hummer, and begins to cross the street. By the time the man in the gas mask is exiting the building, Caius is there--he grabs the man, spins him into a sleeper hold, and renders him unconscious.

Michelle picks the one mushroom from the bridge's surface, and adds it to the pile of equipment Fuse is hauling off with. You tell Fuse he's leveled, and he nods... and sets the mushrooms below the bridge ablaze. The fire begins to spread quickly, but before Michelle and Fuse can finish leaving the building--

the man with the shotgun leaps from the rafters above, the base level bridge audibly groaning as he lands on it. It takes him a second to steady himself... and then begin to aim his shotgun.

"Holy shit," Fuse utters. Michelle fires her pistol... only for the round to bounce off the man's forehead.

Do we have access to the nerves in his limbs? If so screw with them until he's flopping on the floor.
Twyll 14th Dec 2017, 1:52 AM edit delete reply
Yeah, and heck, the spinal cord is involved in a lot of very basic reactions that don't even make it all the way into the brain, possibly even into the brainstem. We could have him flinch constantly to throw off his aim, because that wouldn't necessarily even involve the brain and the brain can't really counteract that.

I love how Caius just casually did all that, he's the best XD

But uhhhhh yeah, crap >__> Fuse could maybe set the guy on fire, but beyond that we have no time. Caius could potentially barrel in to cause a distraction - maybe Michelle could chuck those canisters at him or something. In the meantime we have that syringeful of blood inside the guy - maybe we can't control him, but could we perhaps clot the blood in his fingers or something of the like to cause it to physically crap out? If that's not possible, at least get our bloody bandages down there to mess with the dude. I know it might take some time so -- all the distractions as listed, above. Blwah!

(We need to pick gas mask man back up and bundle him in our hummer when it comes to it though lol)

EDIT: Actually yeah, let's get Jane to pull the hummer right up to the front for the fastest getaway ever (and maybe yank in sleeping gasmask while we're at it - we've got questions for this fella, but we shouldn't go straight to the bunker for that since he could be queened for all we know).

I think I might have a better idea: drive the Hummer THROUGH the door. That car is full of armor; I think it'll be safe AND hopefully provide enough of a distraction for the others to get in and us to get out.

Otherwise, if the canisters are big enough, try to use them as shields in the meantime until we can get in there. Maybe light Robohobo's beard on fire as a distraction.
EDIT: We determined via blooding there are human parts and not-human parts. If we can tell Michelle where to shoot that will be effective maybe that'll buy enough extra time.

Oh, if that's an option that might be kinda fun, LOL.

Also lighting beard on fire is XDDD

Let's not wreck the brand new car, but I do enjoy the idea of lighting his beard on fire. If nothing else, it'll certainly mess up his aim!

Gotta be honest, kinda saw that coming. whatever carpenter put in his head to make it so Thale can control him but not Jane would have to be bullet proof. well for his head anyways.

Do a barrel roll! Shotgun shell shielding And an acid bath all in one!
Auron 13th Dec 2017, 11:51 PM edit delete reply
Can Caius you sneak up behind him and push him over/disarm him?
TheFaceless96 14th Dec 2017, 12:06 AM edit delete reply
Suggest Michelle shoots for one of his limbs in an attempt to throw off his aim? If possible shoot at the shotgun and possibly damage it? Unsure how much stopping power our gun has. If a bullet didn't stop this guy, im not sure lighting him on fire will stop him either. Kicking one of the barrels at him would also likely be a good option. If that's unfeasible, fall back and try to juke him maybe, find something bigger to throw at him.

Use the blood you have in his system against him any way you can, we can't afford to go easy on him!
Drugs?
Nerve manipulation?
Heart attack?
Weaponized "regeneration"?

Take cover behind the barrels! D: I don't want them to kill him because the poor guy isn't in control of his actions here but better him than our friends. ;~;

Oh the bandages are still upstairs! Make them drop down and wrap around his face like a bloody facehugger mummy! :O
Twyll 14th Dec 2017, 1:58 AM edit delete reply
I'm liking the blood-facehugger. That, combined with Fuse lighting the dude's beard on fire, should give us enough time for Jane to figure out if she can worm her way into ANY of his nervous system, and then work from there. Even if we can't control his brain, it's hard for him to do anything with it if his spinal cord is sending messages to his limbs to flinch repeatedly.
Auron 14th Dec 2017, 2:59 AM edit delete reply
that could work.

In all honesty I'm against any idea that involves Gaius going into the building: there's a reason Fuse and Michelle are wearing suits, after all.
I don't think distracting that guy is worth exposing Gaius, and even if we did have a spare suit and he'd manage to put it on before the fight's over, it'd still be difficult for him to move around.

No worries, Caius is already wearing a suit, MM confirmed in Discord. :)
