You ask the man with the shotgun when the next pick up is scheduled.

He suddenly hangs the phone up, and tosses it over the side of the bridge.

"You ever done Queen?," Michelle asks the man in the gas mask.

"Nah," he replies. "Nah, not me. Not my scene, man."

He's probably lying and is about to do some suicidal stuffs
Be wary since he knows we're here lol
Auron 12th Dec 2017, 8:37 PM edit delete reply
They may know we're here.
Lythar 12th Dec 2017, 8:40 PM edit delete reply
No may about it, they know. Knock out the gas mask guy and steal his stuff. All of it.
Crayssius 12th Dec 2017, 8:51 PM edit delete reply
Gosh dangit Lythar we talked about this.
Steve 12th Dec 2017, 9:00 PM edit delete reply
Let's specifically not do this.
Mochi 12th Dec 2017, 8:42 PM edit delete reply
i think perhaps we should take our gas-masked friend and leave, because i'm fairly certain our shotgun-wielding robohobo buddy is probably gonna sweep the place right shortly
rufiangel 12th Dec 2017, 8:59 PM edit delete reply
Seconded. Maybe Michelle and Fuse can grab all we can before we go? (er, including gas-mask-dude lol) Let's leave our bloody bandages well hidden there, just in case, though.

Thirded, but definitely keep tabs on robohobo, and quickly proceed out of the building, and when we can let's explain the terms, conditions, rules, and obligations of being blooded to gas mask buddy

Yeah, I'd say now's 'bout a good time to get the hell out. Maybe ask if the dude in the gas mask has a ride out or someone coming to pick 'im up or not?
Twyll 12th Dec 2017, 9:00 PM edit delete reply
Should we ask gas mask dude to say "Patton Thale"?

Man I'm really worried about what's gonna happen to robohobo now ;_; are they gonna do horrifying things to him? Hopefully we can figure out how to get around whatever's blocking off his brain...

Can we sense anything in his cranium, or, well, *not* in his cranium? Any scarring or wounds from a recent surgery that might point us to what has been done to him, that we can detect?
rufiangel 12th Dec 2017, 9:21 PM edit delete reply
Maybe if we tell Dr. Finch what he told us, he'll have a better idea of what Carpenter did to RoboHobo. (I can imagine Dr. Finch is going to find the fiend even more fiendish than ever after this. >_>a)
Frission 12th Dec 2017, 9:24 PM edit delete reply
Well, Jane used to be a nurse, so she might have some experience with cybernetics, as might Dr. Finch. So, while we're having everyone pull back, can we have Jane and Finch recall what they know about cybernetics and augmentation in the world of BiM? Both the broad strokes and any specific ones they know about?

We should also warn the thief there to get out, because stuff's about to go down. D:

Edit: Side note, I love how you can tell that's Fuse just by his pose, even under the hazmat suit. xD Nice.
rufiangel 12th Dec 2017, 9:35 PM edit delete reply
I don't think Jane has had experience with cybernetics enough to know what Carpenter did, but it's fair to say she might get some kind of inkling based on what readers theorise. I think 'remote clone control' and 'brain in a jar' are currently popular theories XD

Looks like they made him do a thing again, cause they know he would've told us. We need to find his brain, 100%. Ideally, we'd also need to find out how Carpenter is seeing what he does and work around it. Honestly, robohobo seems to be a possible ally. Also, make him say it. Though if we do this to someone Thale is paying attention to (a bit hard to make sure we don't) Thale well know. Don't pull this to often, is the gist.

Leave with purple guy in tow, hopefully willingly, Safely (if possible) loot the lone mushroom and lab, acid bath the rest and leave.
Blue_Elite 13th Dec 2017, 12:01 AM edit delete reply
First and foremost inform Michelle and Fuse of the situation and that they can probably expect company at any moment.

THEN, ask GasMask to say "Patton Thale" just to be sure. If he can, inform him that something is going down and we have to fake a kidnapping with him on the off-chance it'll prevent him from being hunted down by Thale's/Queen group and get out of there with him in tow.

In the meantime, we (Caius and Jane) should probably get in there to provide covering fire or maybe erect a barricade/shield from those derelict containers or something.

I'm not so sure about "say Patton Thale" test. The guy is checked up on freqently. They easily can lift the restriction, so he looks clean.
YetAnother 14th Dec 2017, 1:06 AM edit delete reply
Hmmm... I still isn't going to put much trust into that test. Besides, the guy has already admitted that he's being controlled, STQ or not. Passing PTT just means he's controlled by something other than STQ.

Let Fuse and a Michelle continue questioning the man, but warn them of the potential oncoming onslaught of the cyberguy. Also, subtly move a few of the bandages down over the rail nad "check up" on the phone, to the most of the bandages' capabilities.
