You ask Mom's red if there's anything it needs, or just anything it wants.

"No," it states simply. "I want for nothing."

You wait until Caius and Michelle return to begin discussing the next step.

"Alright, so whatta we got?," Caius asks.

"We still need to deal with that huge plant on Mars," Fuse says, "and any wiring issues that might be in that room. We have the stuff to make like... a blood camera robot... thing, if we want to look in that room from a safe distance."

"We still gotta raid that shroom dealer's hideout. It was a power station, right?," Michelle asks.

"Yeah," Fuse confirms.

"We gonna explore them tunnels?," Caius asks.

"That... might be tough," Michelle replies. "Like, for real, those tunnels went on forever. It might takes us a day or more to map 'em out."

"The proto-Juries are still working on our Jury," Dr. Finch restates. "So anything involving the information from Howler's computer, or dealing with the other half of the Queen equation, will need to wait."

"What all was in the new car?," Fuse asks.

"Oh, yeah," Caius responds. "So, first off--it's one of tha big, souped up hummers Shirai bought. Bulletproof windows, tha whole nine. Backseats were loaded up with guns and ammo."

"Mostly handguns," Michelle says, "about the same quality as what we already got... but it's nice to have more bullets. I'm guessin' for all her money, Shirai don't know jack about weapons."

"Speakin' of money," Caius says, "she left us a pretty substantial amount of cash. Like, it ain't the million dollars I was hopin' for, but... it's a lot."

"It should be enough to live on comfortably for... well, a long time, even for all of us," Michelle says.

"Or," Caius adds, "enough to buy some real dumb shit if we need to go out in a blaze o' glory."

"So..." Fuse mutters, "we got the plant room, the mushroom guy, the Nil in Macland's brain... anything we're missing?"

"Inconsequential things, I imagine," Dr. Finch states, "but there's still the mystery of what's outside the Mars base, and we haven't looked much into Brother Hope. I don't know if I would prioritize them above the other issues mentioned, but it would be better not to forget them entirely."

You also suggest that Fuse upload what he found at Howler's to Lydia's database. He agrees, and starts to work on that.

Spend all our money on a fwooooom cannon this second!

But seriously, Shirai really did come through after all the stupid shit she's pulled. I'm glad.

Extra quest logs:
- Investigate militia activity
- Find out why the entire lower tier is wearing cult shit
- Scan all of the hummer with Finch's bug tracker because this is still Shirai we are dealing with and our space bunker is precious

If she's really as into the Mac as she seems I doubt she'd wanna get back on our bad side.

@___@ Thanks for the recap, senpai. Gosh darn that's a lot!

And hurray, I was hoping for cash! XD good job Shirai, now we can go to the beach and retire... maybe. At least that's on the cards or something. XD;; Too bad she didn't give us anymore laser guns, though I suppose with the cash we could look into procuring some of that. Heh.

While Fuse is uploading stuff to Lydia, maybe Jane can go ahead and check out what's in the blood plant room with her blood-camera-robot-thing. Maybe Michelle and Caius can properly inventory what's in the hummer?

... I am happy with this update XD <3 resources, hurrah!

Just as Synching is a two-way road, I imagine that Nil is actually the result of many brains mashed together. If you think of it as the averages of several hive minds over the years, possibly its designation to negativity is because of the net downward pull of things such as the "recent" war.

Hence our own influences can have leaked into Nil.

Ask everybody if there's any equipment they think could be useful. Maybe someone has a weapon they think we should try to get?
Blue_Elite 1st Dec 2017, 7:13 AM edit delete reply
We could try blooding the extra gun(s) we have now. The trigger mechanics (unless these future guns are different) are inside the gun so they should be operable.
The downside being guns don't have senses and firing blind is potentially worse than not firing at all. Still might be useful to carry a blooded gun we can "force pull" to us at any time or fire if our hands are bound/restricted.

As for current missions: I'd recommend the Mars plant room first. If there are more possible repairs needed, we should get to those ASAP as living or dying at Bunker D is dependant on everything working properly. Don't forget to check Edison to make sure she hasn't escaped before going in.
As a Federal Agent; Jury might actually be able to help us with the shroom dealer hideout situation once she's back, so I'd recommend delaying that unless necessary.
We can explore the tunnels next if Jury is still not fixed after the Mars affair. Information about them may be useful, but without anything pressing involving them, it's more of a mid-term goal.
Finally, looking into nixing Nil I'm assuming is going to require training/practice so I figure we can ask about that later tonight and get started either tonight or tomorrow; depending on how difficult the task will be.
Crayssius 1st Dec 2017, 1:59 PM edit delete reply
could probably do that, attach a blooded camera to it, then maybe use blooded ropes to turn it into a gun/spider drone? I feel like a Fwoom Drone would be kinda amazing. Or maybe just pistol drones, not like we don't have extras.

So call me paranoid, but I'm actually kinda worried about that thing in bunker C (or whichever one is the one that had the infinite loop). I just wanna check to make sure we can get inside that bunker, but that's it.
PurpleKetchup 1st Dec 2017, 2:00 PM edit delete reply
It's probably the original archetype for Nil, trying to lure more people into his clutches. Let's leave him there until forever and then some.
yugi0998 1st Dec 2017, 9:30 AM edit delete reply
out of paranoia have fuse check for any bugs or viruses before he puts the Howler stuff in Lydia's database i don't want the stuff to by deleted and get on Lydia's bad side
Macheman7 1st Dec 2017, 10:32 AM edit delete reply
Not sure if this is meaningful at this point, but try to figure out if the money is marked, and if the hummer or the guns or anything therein might have a tracking device on or in them.

Also, Brother Hope probably is a pressing concern- the longer he, and dudes like him, are around, the more and the more of the lower tiers are being militaristicly converted every day. Mushroom dude is also important.

Again, blooding some large dogs, also maybe pick up some art supplies now that all of our shopping dreams can be fulfilled. They could be useful for something later on- signals maybe?

Uh... Yeah. Congratulate everybody, and discuss potentially having a party if we can find a good time for it.
Also, check the Current Date, see if there's anything new on the news while we do other stuff, and also, y'know, ask Grizwald and Lydia if they need anything. Also, see if some of those Crazy Supplies the proto-Juries needed can be fulfilled now, or should be at all. What exactly would we be supplying for them, for what purpose?

Twyll 1st Dec 2017, 3:07 PM edit delete reply
Large dogs would be a good idea. I also suggest going ahead and blooding some of the stray cats that live around the bunker.
PurpleKetchup 1st Dec 2017, 2:09 PM edit delete reply
Well I, for one, am glad Fuse didn't lose some precious childhood memories over this. Dude doesn't have so many to begin with.

Also, regarding the tunnels, there's a very high chance Grizwald knows about them, and even uses them to move around undetected. Because he's that good. He probably got most of the place mapped years ago; we can try asking him about it, and the possible issues they could bring.

Maybe leave a final message to Gesenai thanking her for keeping her part of the deal.
I'm tempted to also freak the Mack a bit by mind-sending him a non-threatening 'hello there', but that might backfire... so meh.

Anyway, let's check out the Mars plant room.
Twyll 1st Dec 2017, 3:08 PM edit delete reply
Good idea, let's ask Grizwald.
Twyll 1st Dec 2017, 3:10 PM edit delete reply
Yeah, we should definitely get stuff dealt with on Mars. (Also, while we're there, we should pick up another flower for Mom's red.)

Can we ask Mom's red about producing another bab red for us? Just a little one that's capable of acting like a GPS of sorts? It might prove useful for mapping the tunnels in future.
Portal In Time 1st Dec 2017, 6:15 PM edit delete reply
Portal In Time
Seconded on the flower part, but using Momma Red to map out the tunnels may be risky, and I don't know if They have a good way to actually represent their findings in any way.
Crayssius 1st Dec 2017, 4:26 PM edit delete reply
Alright, current ideas for things we should blood:
-debris golem
-attack dogs
-stray cats
-moar rope

Okay, a few things:
1) Feed Willard, because he is our precious baby and he deserves lovely treats.

2) Ask Finch if it would be a good idea to grow things out of our Red and use it as makeshift Biopaste for our printer, in a pinch

3) After all that stuff, let's get some replacements for the wiring in Mars and deal with the plant thing!
Departure_Dave 19th Jul 2018, 11:08 AM edit delete reply
"No," it states simply. "I want for nothing."

M_Red wants No/Nothing/Nil? ;D
