You all gather Jury's parts. Caius grabs Edison's canister and loads it into the car. You slightly shift one of the ceiling tiles and hide the eyeball where you can monitor things. You leave your raven at a safe distance from the building, but where it can still keep tabs on the school.

You take the agent's badge and your empty extinguisher, and you all get out. You update Dr. Finch on the plan--not to meet you at the school, but somewhere else. You still need to check for bugs, but the school is not a safe place to do it.

"Any recommendations, then?," Dr. Finch asks. "It's getting rather late... we'll need to find somewhere that won't seem suspicious if we want to do any meeting up."

You continue to check on the raven and the eyeball. It isn't long after your group leaves that a series of vehicles pull up--but what steps out is not Gesenai Shirai and her crew. Rather, given the way they're approaching the building and communicating with each other, you believe they are federal agents.

Oh damn

thank lydia for the warning, and go find a big empty parking lot. there's bound to be one around, near a department store or something, or just, a parking structure in general.
Blue_Elite 20th Nov 2017, 12:41 AM edit delete reply
Late-night/24-hour department store would be good. We need to get some rubber gloves anyway (especially if we're keeping Edison). Maybe also some cords to secure the canister.
Also maybe some parts from "the small list" in case the P-Js need them to fix Jury.

Ohhhhh nooooo, they put trackers in Jury. Well, dang. Ask fuse if it's possible to make a faraday cage given what we have/could easily purchase. If not, then we're gonna have to stash Jury on Mars.

Now may be a good time to blood her noggin, by the way. Maybe just a single eye, As long as Fuse doesn't think that will break her.

Ooor it could have been with the canister.

Also there is the possibility of the extreme electrical fluctuations being clearly seen upon the power grid.

Edit: Oh I also forgot the concept that if Shirai could have dropped a hint about where the conflict was, as the people who died before were agents... (to try and pass blame)

Or, these could be the backup from when they called out during the original conflict, as we don't know how long it would have taken to respond to an SOS.

Seconding Mochi's suggestion. So long as it's safely out of the path of the feddies, I'm cool with wherever we choose to meet up.

Oh, it's not Shirai, lol. Whew?

I'll triple up on Mochi's suggestion~
Blue_Elite 20th Nov 2017, 12:44 AM edit delete reply
Actually, that may be more concerning. Were they after us or Jury? Did they set up Edison? We may now have what... 4 groups actively trying to capture/kill us now (Thale, Shirai, Carpenter, the Feds)?

EDIT: May was well mention this now: We'll DEFINITELY want to question Jury ASAP about what/who happened to her (if she can confirm if Shirai/Carpenter was behind it and the agent got caught up in the mess or if she was setup by the Feds).
rufiangel 20th Nov 2017, 1:18 AM edit delete reply
Actually we already knew the Feds were after us, right? ^^;

Jury left with a fellow Fed to this school so it's likely she was dispatched there on a tip. This is also likely why the other Feds are there, to follow up on it, or because they got another tip (latter might be more likely, since Lydia knew about it too).
Blue_Elite 20th Nov 2017, 8:13 AM edit delete reply
The Feds are not ACTIVELY pursuing us unlike the other three groups who have set up trap after trap for us. I'd hate to think Edison is federal property and that has changed.

On a side note, we should make sure to note to Jury the federal agent had blue hair and pale skin like clown makeup; similar to the lower-tier Queened group. This might be a Thale move.
rufiangel 20th Nov 2017, 9:33 AM edit delete reply
That's fair, on the active grounds. Though to my understanding, there are Thale spies within the Feds that have been twisting certain things around (like when they tried to get Dr. Finch) so it's kind of all the same thing, I suppose? :'D

If Jury doesn't know who Lawrence Shaw is, that would certainly be a red flag. Otherwise I'm still guessing they went in together. I was thinking he was pale because, uh, he'd lost a looot of blood :'D (it was all over the place!) but sure? I think Jane might have mentioned it though if it was makeup, when she was inspecting the corpse.

Wait a minute... how did Lydia know where we are and what we were doing?
It's entirely possible she DIDN'T know; we may want to raven-search around the bunker-door area in case there are Feds around looking for our base.
skybirds15 20th Nov 2017, 3:17 AM edit delete reply
So. Lydia might have been warning us. Or she's in unrelated... well, unrelated to the current situation, trouble. I wouldn't be surprised if Lydia had occasion to use the blood syringe.

Also, There might not be a tracker in Jury, the other agent seems to suggest this was some sort of planned mission. Therefore, lack of communication with base because of dead-ness would cause some alarm. However, we are not giving Jury back until she is fixed, because they probably can't do it because they do not have 2-3 other robots sitting around. Also, we really can't give her back atm in a non-incriminating way. So, back to base.

I vote for Mochi's idea and Blue_Elite's addition.

I strongly dislike the idea of taking anything to Mars until it has been checked for bugs. The bunker is too valuable an asset to lose because we led our enemies straight to it.

Could we check Lydia's vial? Just to see if she might be in trouble or something. I imagine feds' movements shouldn't be easy to learn.
