His eyes and mouth are sewn shut with red thread. He's propped up against some sort of large, metal canister. The lid to the canister is detached, and sitting a little further down the hall--whatever was inside is no longer there.
You check his pockets. You find a wallet, with no money but an ID. He was Lawrence Shaw.
well fuck. i guess that probably rules jury out pretty solidly as the party responsible for this. i mean, unless she killed the guy, and the mutilation happened after.
can we tell how he died? was he shot, stabbed, anything like that? are there any identifying markings on the canister or it’s lid that might tell us what was in it?
...Are we dealing with a serial killer? Because this definitely seems like the kinda shit a serial killer would do.
Maybe make a quick check on Michelle and Caius just to make sure there's nothing sneaking up on 'em, then go and peek through the window of the door that has blood on the handle.
Morbid thought: would injecting a dead brain let you learn what he new? I recall dead bodies weren't as... receptive as live ones, but still.
For lack of that, identify cause of death, and whether or not it is still a threat (it probably is).
(Could we tell the others about the find, including details on the red thread? Maybe this is a signature of a serial killer that someone's heard about? >_>?)
Otherwise: second the reaction above.
Inspect the metal canister further?
Red thread, huh...
