You send the nearest raven to go take a look at the school.

You ask Fuse what kind of school it is.

He busies himself with the computer for a second. "It looks like... an elementary school? Looks like it's been shut down for a while, though."

It doesn't take all that long for your raven to reach it. It looks like another neighborhood that was devastated by the Tobu hack, though the damage seems more confined. Surrounding areas have started to get fixed up--in contrast to the area around the bunker door, which is completely in shambles with little evidence of repair.

You don't see any people or vehicles around the school.

I'm tempted to suggest we have the Raven tap on a window... "Jury" in morse code.

look for a possible way into the school, but be stealthy about it. failing that, poke around and see what we can see through windows and such. i don't think jury would have gone anywhere that would have ties to carpenter, she seemed pretty spooked by him. so, if he is based here, she didn't know about it. it's possible she fell victim to a trap though.

Can the raven see any apparent disturbances in the rubble? Like, paths through the dust where someone might have gone through? If the school has been shut down for a while, presumably it was shut down before the Tobu hack already, and nobody would have much reason to go there-- so any evidence of people moving stuff around there would be suspicious.

Also, we'd better get started on loading the tranq rifle with blooded ammo.

Greaaaaat. Creepy abandoned school. This will go SO well.

Let's do it.

Yeah, cautiously stealthing our raven-spy through sounds like the next course of action. Let's be very, very careful, though.

Just watch out for rolling music boxes and small lunch pails halfway open up along the walls.

Could be a Toy Golem(made of toys, not tiny), or that Haunted Anatomy Mannequin roaming about, disappearing into holes in the ceiling tiles or around corners suddenly.

Shall we begin preparations to mount a rescue? I mean, unless this is her "base of operations" (and if it was, why hasn't she tried to call us back yet?) we're likely going to go anyway regardless of what we find with the Raven.

Also be sure to bring the bug tracker with us. We'll need it for Jury's phone and possibly Jury herself if it turns out she's been captured after all.

I don't like that carpenter is a massive threat to Jury and of course the last thing we heard of her was a ruckus and now she's in an abandoned elementary school, this could be bad, if we lose Jury we might lose the bunker, and now that she knows about the other bunkers, our only options are get a different base, move to a different bunker, and of course none of them are safe, ones a bottomless pit with what can only be described as a mimic from hell on the other side of the interdimensional door, a cryogenic facility holding an incredibly delicate specimen/specimens, and unhinged robots that might murder us if we harm anything, and I bet their definition of 'harm' isn't going to be lenient, and finally the mars base which is generally unsafe because it's on MARS. Oh boy oh boy oh booooy
