You check the computer on the desk. It does work, but appears to be password protected.

You look in the desk's drawers, but they've been pretty thoroughly cleaned out.

You check the flower on the desk. It looks like a miniature version of the flower containers, likely installed to bring a little more color to the desk. Like many of the others, the contents have since outgrown the glass.

You check the big machine in the middle. When you get closer to it, you can hear it... breathing? It has a definite, mechanical inhale/exhale rhythm to it. This might be where the oxygen gets cycled into carbon dioxide, and then distributed back to the plants in the bunker.

You check on Caius and Dr. Finch. Caius is still hanging around the last room you were in, and Dr. Finch is still messing with the settings on the wall panel. He seems to be exploring its options, occasionally making notes to himself about how all this must function. You update Caius and Dr. Finch on what all you've found.

You check the door at the far right side of the room. The door is locked, but on your side--presumably to keep people out of this room. You can unlock it without any difficulty from this side.

We'll definitely need to get Fuse to crack the computer, but that can wait until we've fully explored this bunker.
For now carefully check out what's behind the door.

Agreed. I imagine Finch will have fun with the... breathing machine, too.

so it’s probably safe to say this is like, a foreman’s office or something, i think. locked door, passworded computer… it all tracks. i guess listen at the door, and if ee don’t hear anything suspicious we can unlock it and go through that way as opposed to climbing back through the vent.

Given the presence of a "breathing machine," I wonder if this place is for testing technology to process human byproducts and add oxygen to the air. It's a legit concern for a planet with massive tiered city-structures, depending on how densely the planet's surface is covered by them-- eventually we could run out of oxygen, if we don't have enough plants, or cause rampant air pollution and climate change just because of so many humans (and the animals required to feed them) living and breathing all at once.

That desktop flower <3

Ya let's leave through the door. As a side note, going forward, it'd be nice to have some very basic lock picking tools in our pocket just in case (though we didn't need it here, we may some day!). Fuse did teach us how to pick really simple locks after all!

Mm, this place potentially has the science to bring about a lot of good to all the tiers in this city. Prophet seems to be an example of someone who had a shorter life span than others just because he was born below and had bad exposure to the pollutants on the surface. Not to say mutants don't have their cool factors (pyrokinetics, anyone?) but you know what I mean.

P.S. As another side note, Caius laughing at Jane popping through the vent was super cute XD
