You have the rat approach cautiously, and peek down the ladder.
The ladder goes down a pretty good distance into a large, open room. The rat doesn't smell anything unusual--it's much the same smell as the rest of this bunker. You don't hear anything at all. It's likely more cold storage, though you can't tell what's being contained from up here.
there'd be no way to safely get the rat down the ladder. while they're nimble, everything in here is covered in frost -- our little friend could very easily slip and fall down the shaft. i think it's best to bring it back out, provided the patrolling android isn't in a position to see it leave. if it is, wait patiently until it goes back to the other one and then we'll let the rat out of the door. so long as willard doesn't chew anything, he should be fine. after we have the rat back, we should maybe inform jury of what we found so she can chastise us for sticking our noses where they definitely don't belong.
it might be more trouble than it's worth to try and control the bandages while also keeping the rat calm. they don't really like being dangled over big drops. or... dangled in general. we can command it, sure, but it's still a rat. it would still panic.
If it's like the rest of the bunker, we may not be able to make out much through the frosted glass anyway. I'm still thinking this could be Lasker. Let's get our rat back safely - as Mochi said, avoid being seen exiting through the door (lol) - and let's perhaps consider calling or shooting Jury a text or something, 'hey we found a super secret icy bunker with things frozen in tubes lawl so wassup with that? :D'
I wonder if we have any keys to try accessing bunker C yet... -v-
... sorry that just came to mind.
