You ask Caius and Dr. Finch if they can grab a few things--your microwave and your stuffed animals in particular. You also tell them they can have ice cream if they want some. You decide that, once you get done talking to your mom's red, you will also grab some extra clothes, linens, and your rat.

You head down to the basement level, and approach your mother's red.

"Hello again."

You ask it what it knows about over-syncing, and how to avoid forming a hive mind.

"I will admit to lacking knowledge about... this thing you call syncing. Your mother's kind did not typically grant knowledge to lesser beings, nor partake of their knowledge. Other species were... hmm. What's a good way to phrase it? Collateral damage."

You ask if the red is aware of any other alien species on Earth, and how they would react to your particular brand of alien.

"If there were others not native to this planet, your mother did not inform me of them. She may not have noticed. If they were aware of what your mother was, they would not likely have a favorable opinion of her... though, witnesses to her true shape would be few. Before this planet, your mother did not make a habit of leaving survivors."

You also ask what might happen if you, personally, were to die--actually die, not just go into a weird blood coma like you did when you were first injected with Queen.

"Your blood--your inhuman self--would continue to live, free of your human mind. Not knowing existence without human sentiment, it may attach itself to whichever living being contains enough of your blood to gain a foothold on consciousness again. Your blood self, alternatively, could try to do that but fail--and you would be functionally dead, both in blood and human brain. As a third option, your blood self may panic, or act out in an imitation of human grief, which would no doubt end very poorly. You are... treading new ground, in many ways. These are questions I cannot answer with absolute certainty."

so basically, if we die, there's a possibility that dr. finch might be the next one to gain control, since he has more of our blood than anything or anyone else, aside from us. that's interesting...

ask mom's red what it meant about folding itself out of this dimensison, like if it meant actually travelling to another plane or just folding itself down to a 2 dimensional object.

I was suspecting that Finch would be quite likely for us to possess if we die... or for him to gain our powers. We should probably warn him about what might happen to him wh- IF we die... because yeah. All in all, I trust him with our powers, so it isn't the worst thing. Also... we may want to externalize our Red at some point... just in case duce hits the fan. Would we be able to use like... an ant or something to do this, instead of externalizing her from out of ourself?

'weird blood coma' XD

Hmm... 'collateral damage', huh. That's... harsh. But makes sense in this particular context. :'D I'm not surprised, though.

Since it's been asked a few times before, could we perhaps ask if it's possible to communicate with our Mom's Red without physically popping in here, since we've given it our blood before?

And if it's possible to follow-up - could we ask what happens to people who have our blood after we actually second-option die-die? Like, for both the situation they don't have STQ in their blood (like Dr. Finch or Caius) or they do (like Michelle or Fuse). I theorised earlier that Dr. Finch might actually end up in control if the blood majority factor is really the determinant of who takes the reins in that regard, should Jane second-option die-die. Is that actually something our Mom's Red could confirm? ._.?

Well, at least not in this way...

If we can externalize red, and red comes from thought, maybe we could externalize a complete copy of ourselves, fully synced, so basically we have a backup 1-up and the ability to be in two places at once.

Interesting. I suppose this means we could prepare a backup body if we want to do that.
Mind, I see it ending poorly for someone(s) depending on the target(s), but it's an option.

We... technically wouldn't have to use someone else... We could make a complete second body.

Also just to continue on if we should get a bunny, a rabbit can run a max of 28 miles per hour, and a rat is about 8... I still think a rabbit would be a useful addition to the team. I also have three bunnies at home and, if they ever smell something dangerous they just huddle up and, kinda shrink, but they don't really run from things. Except a rake, Dolly HATES rakes... cause she's weird...

we're not really in a position to go pet shopping, which is why we still only have the one rat and we went and caught wild ravens.

I suppose, but like when we have the time and money, which hopefully is soon.
