You explain everything that Dr. Finch missed--that the rest of you are fine, what happened in Macland's mind, that you and Fuse synced too long, that you couldn't keep the feds from taking him but you've been watching him as much as possible, and are trying to come up with a plan to rescue him.

You give him additional painkiller, and you ask if he can try to find out as much about his captors as he can--but also try not to tip anyone off how much he's associated with you, since you don't want them doing weird experiments on him or interrogating him or... whatever it is they might do.

He gives a very subtle nod, but he doesn't respond out loud. His eyes briefly point toward the thick glass that fills in most of the walls. It seems Dr. Finch suspects he's still being watched.

dr. finch is probably right. the room he's in looks... kind of like a holding cell in a way? anyway, act as natural as possible, buddy. we love you and we'll try and get to you soon.

if they are watching him, hopefully they'll untie him from the operating table in a bit now that he's awake.

Or they'll skip straight to the interrogation.
Wouldn't be surprising, really.

Right. Well, since Finch lacks the strength to bust out of here, we'll probably just have to wait until someone comes in to check on him. He probably needs some time to adjust as well.

I don't think it'd take long, the feds are probably watching him as much as we are.

Did we tell the rest of team space alien that he's awake? I bet they're a little confused that we suddenly started spacing out.

If it does take a while for them to show up, we could set an alarm for when doctor Finch does something inconspicuous- say, rubbing two of his fingers together or wiggling his toes. That way Finch can get us listening/giving him melee skills or whatever whenever he needs.

Glass, Glass, Glass. They even left Finch's Glasses on. This place is definitely First Glass.

... I have nothing constructive to say, apparently. Right now.
I mean... other than trying to read what's on those monitors over there. But I don't think it's gonna be much more than vital signs etc.

A pretty weird PQRST if any, but pixels don't typically do ECGs much justice.

Oh, crud. If they're monitoring his vital signs and so on, they might be able to tell we gave Finch a painkiller effect. try to ascertain the scope of the monitors in that regard.

We should probably try to come up with a cover story for why Finch offered Ms. Fed a vial of our blood to try to prevent her from getting sick, if he's gonna downplay his involvement with us. Maybe say he was doing some bio-tech research (because he is, after all, a genius), and he discovered this blood with anti-drug properties, and thought maybe it would be anti-poison as well and it was his only shot to not die?

I mean technically he *has* been researching us and our abilities, just at our own request :P

Well, he was telling the truth when he said that's his only way to help her vis-a-vis flesh eating virus.

I'm so mad that they restrained him. Ugh! I mean, I guess I should have seen it coming somewhat but poor Dr. Finch. ;_; his situation doesn't sit well with me at all. I hope they give him ample time to recover from surgery before doing anything else.

I think calling the Fed number at this point, just to hear what they might want, could be a plan. But to do that safely I believe Fuse needs a computer to spoof the call and he's in no state to go anywhere, let alone home to pick up a PC. Unless he can do it from his cell phone, but I recall he specified he needed a computer to do it when we brought it up. Alternatively, Caius could make the call on our behalf somewhere neutral, like a train station or Jane's home.

... Should we attempt to send an animal friend in to scope out the bunker and at least see the preliminary security measures they have set up? If it's a bunker they surely have air ventilation systems in place and Jane *is* a vent hermit... :P
