You head into the room on the right, where the office workers were. Partly out of curiosity at what you may have missed, partly hoping to lure out the giant Macland you saw earlier.

It doesn't take very long for him to notice you, the giant Macland emerging from the dark and approaching the office area.

You take off in a dead sprint, and Fuse falls in running behind you. The giant Macland plunges his fist through the wall, barely missing the both of you as you rush toward the starting room. You officially have the attention of the giant Macland Row.

Now what?

Oh geez oh geez oh geez XD;;;;;; I... I didn't know this would really happen HAHAHAHA

Okay PurpleKetchup, if your theory holds, then what we're trying to do is get Big Mac to become aware of the Nothing, and cause a weird feedback loop that enables us to leave because Macland will now Know of what was Unknown, which was where the creature was hiding and manipulating all that was Known into Unknown-ness.

So... we have to lead Big Mac into Purgatory. >___> Possibly set things on fire as we go, I dunno. I think that's the plan?

To be clear, he would not only need to see the Nothing, but understand what it represents. We want it to stop melting his brain, if possible. But more importantly, he would want to stop it, if he knew what it was doing.

How do we make him realize the Nothing is responsible for melting his brain, and convince him to stop it?

If my understanding of the mindscape rules are correct, we actually can't make him realise anything because we are unable to change what a person thinks.

We're not necessarily trying to get Macland to understand what the Nothing is, in order to escape. We're trying to get the Nothing to lose its power over us, as the Nothing gains its power by hiding in the unknown recesses of Macland's mind. By bringing Macland into the Nothing, we'd be effectively bringing the Nothing right out into the forefront forcefully. Er, in theory.

If all else fails, I'm just going to point back at 'well then just set everything on fire and run' because what else can we do XD;;;

EDIT: Oh, and I just remembered - Macland actually can't stop it, even if he wants to.
This is something Dr. Finch actually stated.

Lacking any better idea, I guess "Macland vs. The Nothing" is as good an option as any. Wonder where the peons went? Did they get dragged away by MegaMac?

Plan : Reverse Brain Freeze sounds good too, but I *really* hope that we don't have to resort to that because it sounds like it could backfire(ho-ho-ho).

Hey...I wonder if we could use cleantex to recognize that reporter we saw getting beaten? Even if she was killed maybe she had some evidence of wrongdoing squirreled away somewhere? If we're lucky she's alive and just...convinced to be silent. If we could get actual, legal evidence of the dirty deeds our enemies are tied up in we may be able to use that somehow.

The plan is for Mega-Mac to interfere with the dimensional fuckery that prevents us from doing anything in the exit room enough to simply move past it.

It's Macland in his home turf. He will do something big, and the Nothing will spend itself cancelling that. Might lead to immense brain damage for Mackey, but with luck the Nothing cannot multitask and less significant movements won't be negated.

I'm betting on Carpenter's defence working best in a mind that's willing to delegate dealing with pests, and also on the Mac being the controlling kind who will go against that.

Sorry 'bout the brain damage, though. Honest. Screw it, Jane should help him on that side eventually when she can. It might not change his mind, but I'd hate to leave something like that behind.

Wait, we went bloody?

So I take it he recognizes us from the video footage.
Does that mean we now have the bandages and scalpels back?

Oh dang, I only just noticed that - good catch! XD;

But uh, yeah, we might actually have that all on us now. Though I'm not sure what we could do with it.

Well, since the bandages count as extra arms, we could play pattycake with Fuse.... but I don't think we have the time for that.

Well, we could use them to make Giga-Mac even more pissed off, but I don't see that as necessary.

I suppose if Macland got close to grabbing Fuse or Jane, we could stabbity stab with our scalpels XD;

Well, i'm curious as to what would happen when Big Mac + Nothing. I doubt Mr. Hamburger here would be very happy with a monstrous entity eating his brain.

RUN.

also, i think getting big mac to see the nothing will nullify it. he saw us and we were instantly reverted back to our bloody nurse clothes. that means he saw us and realized instantly who we were. i think if he sees the nothing and even if he just realizes that something is there, it'll work.

Big Mac needs to see the nothing, not sure what the best way to get him there is, but getting him there should be it... I guess let's have him follow us as we walk, but if that is to subtle, burn it all as we go.

I just realized that we can get Macland to punch holes in the back of the Purgatory room.
We could... in essence, fill the room with punch holes, then use those to escape. Possibly via a Bandage Bridge.

Cause every time he'd punch a spot it's a new graphic.. so to speak, and the nothing has to rearrange the segments of the room so we can't escape. If enough segments are added,there won't be any room to shuffle around left. So nothing will have to enter the Nothing, but we use the holes in the chaos to make the path. Hmm.
