You try turning the red valve handle in the room with the computer. You hear the flow of water drastically increase in the nearby drainage pipe.

You and Fuse return to the room you fell into, and tread the water as it slowly overflows and fills the area. Inch by inch the two of you are pushed skyward, until eventually, you reach the underside of the office area. The water helps push you upward as you hold your breath and climb through the floor.

It takes a good deal of time and effort, but you and Fuse make it out of the sewer.

It.... it worked! O_O

Aaand we're back to corruption land. Oh boy.

We need to get back to the Club Elegance section ASAP before Macland's big fat hand appears again to try and swat us down 'like bugs'. Though if Fuse sees it before we can get away, I hope he lights the hand ON FIRE.

Anyway, we need a plan to get past that memetic thing and I'm going to guess we don't have as much time now since it took us a while to get back up here. Red may not longer be contactable but if that's true, Red is officially 'unknown' and might be able to actually do something about the creature from that end of the knowledge spectrum that it couldn't do before.

Failing that theory, Fuse could just... I dunno, set everything on fire? At this point, all logic error loopholes be damned, we're running out of time XD;; let's all throw ideas out and see what sticks!

The giant Macland avatar in there is probably the Mac's own gigantic ego, acting as natural defence.
If we can lure it to the exit so it's aware of the unthought, that might cause some weird feedback loop that leaves us able to leave.

I'd prefer we leave him not-braindead (because Carpenter will know for sure Macland has some of Jane's blood). But it's probably a bit late for that. Maybe the thing will just chomp his ego down to size before his brain fries out.

Luring it, huh... I guess we *could* attempt to bait it by just kind of hanging around until the hand appears to swat us again, and then backing out juuust out of reach so it keeps trying to reach at us.

The Club Elegance area did seem to be an oddly neutral area here, though, so I'm not sure if it would work ;_;

okay, good. now we just need to figure out how to get past the Nothing without dying horribly. red said it hides in what macland doesn't know, is it possible yo use that to force it out of hiding using that, like rufi suggested? someone suggested stretching out really thin like the blood wants us to and using that to confound it, could that work? it can't counter what it doesn't know we can do, can it?

It seems like the hand came from the right side of the panel... What's in that direction? A hole it came out of? Anything?

Have Fuse see if he can do anything useful with the computers real quick- There might be something not useless on one of them.

Try killing the cheap hoes and the worker guys with the dagger, if it becomes to involved, try to trick them into going into purgatory.

Grab Fuse, try leaving again. See if he can help us leave, somehow, or at least get him out.

the women are all dead already. a hand came out of the gallery wall and started crushing them.
Macheman7 14th Sep 2017, 11:12 PM edit delete reply
Oops. Musta missed that part. I thought it was just the one.

when we went back to move the gold statue, the room was empty and covered in blood. one would assume that means the hand got the rest of them.
rufiangel 14th Sep 2017, 11:47 PM edit delete reply
There could be a hole where the hand bust through, like in the gallery. Behind the hole though, there is Nothing. If we enter Nothing there is no telling what would happen to us, so we haven't tried. >_>

Maybe we should check out that other room with the Macky statue the on by the computers to see if there is anything. We didn't really look into it much.
rufiangel 14th Sep 2017, 11:43 PM edit delete reply
The computers had the following:

Work: "Inside are... awful things. Pictures of dead bodies, videos of people being tied to chairs and being abused, pictures of Macland Row slipping money to police officers, and documents detailing methods of tax fraud."

Porn: "Inside are various images of money, a helicopter, a massive house, and other things presumably purchased by Macland Row."

Games: "Inside are images of... what looks like a reporter, shackled to a wall and being beaten by Elegance guards. You're not sure what the location is--it doesn't look like the torture room at Elegance."

I think these are things we could spend time recalling later on cleantex if we really wanted to; right now, I'm not sure there's anything more on it worth looking at?

I meant we should check on the door on the right. We never really took a good look in that room. The other room with the Macklend statue and sycophant office workers.
PurpleKetchup 14th Sep 2017, 11:55 PM edit delete reply
Isn't that the room with the giant Macface ?
I'm all for catching his attention, but maybe not that blatantly ?
rufiangel 15th Sep 2017, 12:18 AM edit delete reply
Ohhh sorry about that tor, I should learn to read better XD;;

In general I'm just for trying to get out, rather than explore. I'm just worried we're running out of time :'D

Fire the giant Mac-smack face! Or find something in that room that we didn't see because this side seemed less fun

Maybe there's a gun in there that fires knowledge bullets to shoot at the Nothing.... or something more sensical. Or less, who knows.
