You head back through the Hell door, and begin to check on the computers.

The first one, the "Work" computer, still sports a folder full of terrible images and videos.

The second computer has finally opened its "Porn" folder. Inside are various images of money, a helicopter, a massive house, and other things presumably purchased by Macland Row.

The third computer has opened its "Games" folder. Inside are images of... what looks like a reporter, shackled to a wall and being beaten by Elegance guards. You're not sure what the location is--it doesn't look like the torture room at Elegance.

You hear the harsh screeching noise again. You minimize the folder. Some other program has been opened up on the desktop, and seems to be trying to ... start a call? You click the little phone button.

You hear Fuse's voice, though the audio cuts in and out, interlaced with sharp static sounds.

"He░lo? ░░ s░░░░dy the░░? Blon░ie, ░hat you?"

Well, Fuse is in a right fix right now. Let's answer the lad, let him know we're in a tight spot but spare him the details for now, and ask him of his whereabouts.

No, seriously, Macy boy is becoming brain-dead, get out of his head, preferably with Fuse, but I think we can get Fuse out from the outside

To clarify for MM, I'm phrasing my reply to this as a second vote, directed toward "Ask Fuse where he is and tell him we're in trouble on this end."

Okay, so I kind of spent the last 15 minutes of my lunch break looking up paradoxes and my brain hurts and this friggin' webcomic

So in terms of how we could potentially counter the logic hole, I was going to say 'we have Red with us, so that's two brains' but if Fuse is somehow here too (arrrrgh I hope he's tapping in from the outside) then we might even have 'three brains'. The more minds we have, the more paradoxical thoughts/actions/statements we can make against the creature at the same time, that can force it out of hiding. As long as it's not hiding, it can't force our actions into non-existence, and so we can friggin' leave.

It occurs to me, that since this whole construct was created by our... brains? (did... mom have a brain?) If we can trick the space itself into thinking that we can do/have/etc something, then can can do/have that thing. So if we somehow trick the surroundings into thinking that we have, say, a working finger pistol, then we'd have one. It's not enough for just us to think that, it was to think that.

This construct is actually Macland's mind, and not ours. We're able to access it by the alien blood powers we have, but this manifestation of the mind's secrets isn't a result of us willing it into being; we just have the ability to forcibly tap into it. That's why it's so rigid in here, in terms of our ability to interact with it, and also why when we tried to manifest weapons, we couldn't do it.

Mom did, by the way, have a close-to-human brain: "With the growth of a human-like brain, her confusion developed into intrigue, to curiosity."
