You carefully maneuver your way through the gallery, stepping between the various women. They continue to stare at you, but they neither act nor speak.

You return to the room you started in.

Don't see any cracks. So I guess our options are either to leave, or to go back and check on the computers. Will the computer keep working even after we desync, so that we could come back at a later time?
rufiangel 12th Sep 2017, 4:59 AM edit delete reply
Uh... here comes the awkward question that Baer raised a while back. Because like, in Michelle's force-sync, we had an obvious entrance/exit. And this place... doesn't.

Do we know how to get back out from here?
tor 12th Sep 2017, 5:03 AM edit delete reply
Ask our Red for advice?
Lythar 12th Sep 2017, 8:15 AM edit delete reply
I second tor's idea, ask for advice from our red. Or Mom's red.

Unrelatedly, have none of us thought of the name "sanguinokinesis" for our blood-manipulating abilities yet? Cause the fanpage has a very long name for it, when sanguinokinesis literally means "manipulation of blood". In butchered fantasy style. As usual for me.
Varil1024 12th Sep 2017, 8:55 AM edit delete reply
Maybe hemokinesis?

I'd like to try something:

Smash the picture in the gallery that features Gesenai Shirai.
Baeronius 12th Sep 2017, 4:01 PM edit delete reply
That... actually sounds quite interesting.

Well this has been an eventful mindscape!

Okay, random thoughts. Macland has a ginormous ego. EVERYONE is against him. The peons annoy him and get in the way, the dumb blondes are only good for his ego and their looks, and he clearly thinks that he is suffering the slings of arrows of everyone being in his way.

But...BUT. Are any of these things secrets? It's a facade. A lie Macland tells himself...but one he might not believe. Look to closely at the lie and it starts to break, right?

So then...what's behind it? If we look past the corporate drudgery and the bimbos and the ego, who is Macland really?

The problem is that when we break past the facade, what are we going to find? Because that's where the mental defenses are going to be. I just hope Fuse is over there somewhere too, because if not this is probably gonna be a bad time, Undertale style.
AlphaDragon 12th Sep 2017, 8:30 AM edit delete reply
This actually makes a kind of sense to me, might also explain why we can't find an exit. Wherever it is hidden the facade is still up.

Can we go back and "Dig" at one of the cracks in heaven?
Mochi 12th Sep 2017, 8:38 AM edit delete reply
this looks like elegance. remember the secret door? try the middle of the hallway.
Zeddy 12th Sep 2017, 8:45 AM edit delete reply
This is a good plan.
AlphaDragon 12th Sep 2017, 10:37 AM edit delete reply
Good point Mochi, let's check the middle of the hallway and if that doesn't work we can go check cracks...
Auron 12th Sep 2017, 9:33 AM edit delete reply
check the middle of the hall.

Fanart scene rendition of the raven catching scene, continued to part 2 (this is a long scene):

This time I realised that while I remembered Michelle's scarring, I totally forgot her armband thing. :'D I may add it later OTL

(I added Michelle's scarring into part 1, over here -v-)

Try to contact Fuse, since he might be able to hear you this time... I really hope he's not going through terrible things right now.

Look for hidden paths. Knock against walls. Macland is probably more complicated than the simply dichotomy we've witnessed, however the booze probably smudged all that.

If there's no path... dig an exit.
Mochi 12th Sep 2017, 1:28 PM edit delete reply
we already tried to contact fuse when we first got here and got nothing. there's a good chance that he's not here.
Varil1024 12th Sep 2017, 1:38 PM edit delete reply
I you think that maybe we're just kind of...channeling his abilities? I wonder if we could hack a computer if we tried. Or maybe just light something on fire? It's hard to be sure.

That or he's in a different part of Macland's mind.

If this place is a sort of mental trap for intruders, maybe it wasn't prepared for two and our plus one is deeper in, facing the horrors alone.

...not ideal.

I'm still pretty sold on the idea that this is all just a front for reality. Macland's over-inflated ego, his shallowest self that he shows the world. The rooms the looked at the closest started to break down. If we looked closer, would they tear away completely, leaving only truth?

I think we should look closer at the computer room. It would make some sense for Fuse to be there, just...behind the lies. If the computers are done we could poke around in those some more.
Kitty 12th Sep 2017, 2:44 PM edit delete reply
Let's not forget the computers-- they might be done loading by now, and we might have a bit of a time limit given that the room is kinda falling apart. So I think we should check the computers, THEN look for a hidden door.
Baeronius 12th Sep 2017, 3:58 PM edit delete reply
I think the computer running the porn operation is probably a gonner.
