You head upstairs for a moment to check your stuffed animals. You don't see any signs of tampering--no cameras, microphones, or anything of the sort. For being a federal agent, they weren't very thorough about trying to catch you.

You grab some of the clean pillows from your bed and you head back downstairs. You try to slide your parents' old bed as tightly against the wall as you can. You have your rat move to your parents' bedroom, and hide out under the bed, while your raven stays outside--that way, you have two lines of surveillance.

You all take turns sleeping in shifts. You use your blood powers to help the sleepers sleep better, and to keep those on watch awake and alert. It's uncomfortable and a little awkward, and tensions are high all night, but everyone manages to get more or less a decent night's sleep.

What will you do the next morning?

Wasted the whole night... Have a trip in Macland's head, unless he's already up and de-boozified.

Resting when your tired is wise, not wasteful.

first, check dr. finch. second, check our sentries -- the raven outside and the rat in the house. if everything is good (or as good as it can be) there, then see if macland is still passed out drunk.

I am with Mochi with a touch of Kitty, Let's check on all our friends. Those physically with us to. Look for any anomalies in the body as well as ask how they feel.
Then let's check on MacLand.

Check on ALL the bloodfriends! Finch, surveillance animals, etc. And ask our bloodfriends who are here in person how they're doing too.

I'm still in favor of giving Macland a habit of babbling his plans to himself while he's alone. If we can put him in a talking-to-himself sort of mood, we might be able to get some info out of him without even having to sync, or we can make it so we can get info when he's awake via babbling and asleep via syncing.

This could hopefully be accomplished by ramping up anxiety, then introducing the notion that babbling to himself (maybe with some rocking back and forth, if that helps sell it to his brain) will reduce the anxiety. This might not really work, but I think if we can affect things like stimulation and sedation, and also give commands, we should be able to give these kinds of subtle suggestions too. Basically, what we're trying to do is just give him a very specific form of OCD.

If they're all up for it introduce everyone to Mom's Red. I mean it's right There and they may need to know what to expect if someone has to burst in and request liftoff.

Caius said he's not interested.

Make Macland mumble to himself about what's going on with the enemy team.
