You taken in what Red has told you. You turn, and you take off running.

"SHE DOESN'T DESERVE IT!," you can hear Vasquez screaming behind you. "SHE'LL NEVER AMOUNT TO ANYTHING!"

Spiders swarm around the exit door. Thousands upon thousands of them. They sweep across the sand, coating the ground. You charge straight through them, the mass crawling up your legs as you run for the door. You can feel them biting, their venom burning into your legs.

You make it through the door, however.

You wake up in the backseat of your car.

Michelle is still asleep.

You have a raven in your lap.

The car is moving.

Fuse is driving, and fast.

He's also not driving too extraordinarily well, nearly plowing into street signs as he makes sharp corners.

Caius is in the passenger seat, occasionally leaning out the window to fire a handgun. It takes you a second to really wake up and realize what's going on--you glance out the back window, where another car is keeping pace in pursuit of you. Men in suits sometimes lean out of that car's windows, firing back at Caius. They share the Elegance haircut--employees of Shirai.

They, and Caius, are all terrible shots. Neither their vehicle nor yours has any damage, at present.

that's... unintentionally hilarious. they're doing their best!

we need to wake michelle up and fast and have her take over shooting before one of the storm troopers actually manages to hit something. or someone. and check ourself for injuries. hopefully the spiders didn't actually hurt us and we're not being poisoned.

We've synced Michelle's combat data before, right? Do we still have that stored somewhere? We might be able to sync that to Caius even without Michelle being awake. (Although we should definitely wake her up, this might be faster until she does get all the way awake.)

unfortunately most of the information gained from syncing doesn't stick around, so we can't store it. we'd have to sync it through michelle to caius the same as we did to fuse, which needs michelle to be awake and caius to be willing to sync.

Alright, we'd better wake Michelle up as fast as possible (without being traumatizingly fast) and do our best to calm Caius down and steady his hand until Michelle can wake up and take over.

We do have the ability to wake someone up real fast with the coffee effect we learnt, actually. Sorry Michelle, this is a bit of a brutal wake-up XD;

Also, let's just ask what the HECK is happening?! XD;;; Talk about out of the frying pan and into the fire/fryer!

@Mochi: The terrible shot thing is hilarious XDDD

they're doing their best but i love that they're supposed to be scary, intimidating goons and they can't hit the broad side of a barn standing two feet in front of it. it's great.

Check your legs for injuries. We don't know if there are any crossover effects for deeply diving into another person.

*Doh! Spent so long thinking didn't see Mochi's post!♪ >.<;

Also, is there a difference between drug-induced sleep and normal sleep? Mayhaps we couldn't reach Michelle cause of the drugs?

Let's first give ourselves some breathing room. Sync up Caius and Michelle so Caius's aim doesn't suck. After that's cleared up let's figure our what happened.

Out of the spider, into the (line of) fire. Don't suppose we still have those smoke grenades on us? If possible have Caius Carefully take over driving so Fuse can help blow these guys up. Waking up Michelle soonest is recommended and Leveling off is at the ready as required.

Alright, we've made good progress, people.

1. We learned that Michelle is going to have to absolve herself of Vasquez on her own, with us merely being emotional support.
2. We learned Michelle doesn't have much time left, because predictably, clones are crappy biologically.
3. We learned that if we go in Macland's head, we're just an observer. We can trigger cutscenes and fight internal conflict, but the only one with the power to make change is the sleeper, who we can't influence. If we go in Macland's head, he's going to have to want to improve as a person, and be able to do so. (tl;dr: it's mainly only useful to learn deep secrets about a person's state of mind, not to change anything)
4. We learned that we can't get help from our friends when in a forced sync.
5. We have come back out to discover that time passed, and we have been tracked down by Shirai.

I would like to voice my opinion that now is probably not a good time to ask about our current situation, as Fuse needs to focus. Let's wake up Michelle with the coffee effect. If that succeeds, we inform her that we're being chased and Caius needs help shooting, and we ask if Caius would be alright drawing on Michelle's ability to shoot. If not, maybe Michelle can start shooting from the backseat.

If we crash, though, it's all over. Can anyone think of a good way to streamline Fuse's driving so we can avoid getting shot AND stay in control? I don't think Level will do it, but I'm a little overloaded with data.

Wow nevermind. Soon as I finished this post, I realized there was already a new page.
