Morgenstern
You head back through the toy store, once more marching through the long, dark portion. Once you've made it back to the island, you walk back through the once barbed wired door, stepping into the distorted locker room.

You approach the locked locker, and input the number 8400.

The locker door unlocks.

You open it, and discover there's no back wall to the locker. The locker is, instead, a door of sorts.

There is no light beyond it, the door leading into total darkness. Stuck to the inside of the locker are simple doodles of Fuse and Dr. Finch.

If we haven't already - we bled inside the sadness dispenser to get it to eject the papers. Let's control it a la initial hospital vent, and stop it from ejecting any other slips of paper. FOREVER. Whack at it with the axe for good effect.

I wonder if that would do more harm than good, though. Like... keeping sadness bottled up inside is often worse than expressing it right? So if we just break the dispenser mechanism, that could be a problem, because all the sadness is still there, stuck inside. If we break the thing open and take out all the sadness-cola (and maybe burn the slips or something?), that could work, though. It might be a kinda traumatic experience for Michelle, but it might be better for her in the end? I dunno.

i was gonna say that'd take a lot of blood, but we could probably break the mechanism pretty easily. kitty makes a good point, though.

The thing about sadness dispensers: like any other dispenser, you generally have to interact (and give it something) for it to dispense. It's only broken ones that give you stuff without prompting.

So it should be just fine sitting here.
