You walk out what would otherwise be the front door of the toy store.

You walk into a slightly, somewhat familiar room.

Huh. More lockers, and... chairs? ._.? And there's a metal box thing. With a thing on top of it. What's that? *squints at all the things* (Sorry if my interpretations are off XD;;)

Let's explore slowly I guess? Check out the lockers for lootin' carefully - carefully - and I guess blood the soda machine again if we have no dream pennies. If the other machine was a sadness dispenser, I suppose this could be that, too. Or worse. Yeep.

I think that's a sink metal box thing and if it is lets check if it woarks
Varil 4th Sep 2017, 6:18 AM edit delete reply
We could just step back into the store and loot the register. It had some money, just not a lot. I think the metal box thingy is a water fountain, maybe?

...maybe that'll dispense happier thoughts than the cola machine.

i think that is a water fountain, yeah. like the kind you see in hospitals or schools with the push bar on it to start the flow

It really re-frames the scene Michelle blasted him. She got tired of being defined by him. But it looks like most of her life was spent being shaped by his words and treatment of her. Jane is probably her new anchor-point, but she has already internalised the lies Vasquez has fed her about her life's value. I hope that she continues to reshape her identity and self-worth through her friendship with Jane and learns that she is more than capable of defining herself, and doesn't even need us to do it for her.

This whole sync event so far just *has* me. It is breaking my heart to see Michelle's mindset. Whatever she's hiding from us, it'll help us understand her all the more. ;_;*

I wonder if we could find something to write with? It probably wouldn't be anything more than symbolic, but we could always do something like scratch out bad thoughts we find and write down something happy instead.

Actually Varil that might not be a bad idea...

Tearing those papers to bits should suffice, although might be a bit agressive.

Less agressive than axing them in half, though.

Jane could eat them up. Not sure what message that one would send though.

I believe Varil is right and that is a water fountain. Seems like the place to start really. See if it dispenses water or... "Something else". Just for Grins might be worth looking at the chairs up close in case something is written on them or under them. Then see if the lockers are unlocked.

Are those... garbage chutes on either side of the lockers? If they are, do they have different destinations?
4th Sep 2017, 11:52 AM edit delete reply
They might be some kind of bench or chair.

Make a mental note to get Michelle a real pet.

I'm sensing a pattern here. Let's see if she keeps the good with the bad.

Check the lockers slowly. If there's a locked one...
Try inputting 4056, 4057, 5640, 5657, 5740 or 5756.

Then go back to the first padlock and try the same.

Ok, Ketchup, what did you catch that I missed that you got the numbers from?
PurpleKetchup 4th Sep 2017, 1:30 PM edit delete reply
From the statue of Jane first thing, and the unlocked locker holding Vasquez' belongings...

She decided to change after meeting Jane. When exactly ? I'm thinking some important parts.
Getting patched up and chatting around a drink, maybe ? So, #40, #56 & #57. Just a hunch, though.

Could be the date you met instead.
AlphaDragon 4th Sep 2017, 1:48 PM edit delete reply
That's pretty clever, and worth a shot, but I am not sure Michelle would be aware of the strip numbers.
But heck, I'll try anything once, twice if it's fun.

I'd look at the cash register.
There's money in there, but does it have an order? Like dollars to cents and stuff. Also, do any of the dolls have a price on them?

Ooh ooh, will something happen if we drop a coin from the register into the fountain?
