You switch to Fuse's perspective, and discover that Fuse has already lit the man on fire.

The man is not stopping, though Fuse did manage to get his attention away from you.

"What the hell, man?!" Fuse is shaking, backing up through the doorway. The man in the welding mask is aflame, but his pace doesn't even falter. You realize that it was an axe he hit you with--and you've lost a great deal of the sensation in the one arm. Fuse draws his gun, firing a shot into the man's body. The man pauses, for a moment... and then fights through it, drawing nearer and nearer to Fuse. Fuse is afraid to hit him with more fire--it's fortunate that Fuse didn't lose control the first time, he's afraid to gamble on it again.

we won't be able to get enough leverage on the extinguisher with one arm in order to whack him and knock him out. we'll have to syringe him. keep fuse backing up, maybe fire another shot. give us enough time to syringe him and get him to stop. keep fuse's gun hand steady. aim for his heart. stay out of the reach of the axe.

alternatively, shoot him in the back of the head. we have a gun, too.

Is this guy being controlled directly, might explain the apparent disregard for his own well-being.

that's what i was thinking too.

It seems like it ;_;

I can't check in because of a conference and finally when I get a chance, I learn that nothing much happened except AN AXE-WIELDING MURDERER jumped out of a locker, lopped half the nerves in our arm off, and is now on fire and trying to axe Fuse. Typical. XD;;;

I'd vote for either attempting to syringe him (we do still have our 'bloody tendrils' (read: bandages) on our arms, yes?) and/or aiming to shoot. I'm thinking specifically shoot the axe out of his hand, or of course back-of-head or aim-for-the-heart makes sense too. If syncing with Michelle helps get our aim better, do it. If syncing Michelle's gun-handling to Fuse is better because he has both hands, do that instead.

Using the fire extinguisher with one hand miiight work if we swung it around like a discus but I have no idea if we have the physical prowess to pull that off with any level of finesse :'D

Can I just voice...reaaaaaal quick, that we might be getting trigger-happy with the syringes? We're a nurse! Why don't we just use our bandages and scalpels, if we have any, to sever a bunch of crucial ligaments and tendons that keep him moving?

If we can't do that, we can puncture all his major arteries -- I'm thinking jugular, aorta, and femoral in that order.

And if I'm just oblivious and we don't have scalpels, then yeah, syringes would I guess work. But that's one more person linked to our hive-mind that we have to be accountable for.

Our inventory is as follows: You and Fuse have handguns, as well. Michelle is still armed with a shotgun. In addition, you have bloody bandages, blood filled syringes, a smoke bomb, Vasquez' police badge, your keys, and a first aid kit. Fuse still has a toolkit, a lighter, level, and a smoke bomb.

We don't have scalpels right now, and I guess going for the blood syringe is just the most efficient way to gain control over the situation. That said, there is definitely more than one way to tackle this situation, so don't worry - we can all throw our ideas at MM and see what happens XD

getting him under control is our best option to keep him from planting his axe somewhere else. like in fuse's very unprotected head, for example. as the general consensus seems to be that he is being controlled directly by someone else, he will keep going until his body physically cannot any more, or we stop him. after we stop him, i don't really care what happens to him. he'll probably bleed out from the gut wound, anyways.

Painkillers. Stat!
Go for either syringe and knock him out. Now. Or shots to the heart, head's protected somewhat and with this one being potentially being Driven by someone else they could shrug off anything that's not dead on.
After handled time to contact Red and learn what we can do in terms of regeneration.

I agree time to contact Red and see about regeneration, also might not hurt to ask about regeneration on our blood bonds either. If Fuse (Or one of the others) gets hurt can he be healed through our blood? Also is there a distance penalty if we can?

Uh. Uh. Briefly sync with Fuse and Michelle and have Fuse shoot that jerk in the leg. I would've said head, but welding mask.

I updated the Fan Page a bit but there's a lot to cover I realised after the last couple of days XD; I only added Caius, added a bit of clarification to the bottom of the Skills page, and added what Fuse said about the Prophet to the Temple of Enyo section; and then I left some placeholders in the characters because ho boy. XD;

EDIT (Much later in the future): I realise that maybe leaving the EDIT link here in public may not be the brightest idea so go ahead and ask me for it if you want to help edit it - it was always supposed to be managed by the legion XD; Right now, it's primarily managed by Mochi and myself, just FYI (if... anyone happens upon this comment in the future, lol). Thanks!

yay, caius! i'm really attached to him, rofl. i hope he ends up being cool.

also i'm going to try and figure out how to help with the google page but if i break everything, i am v sorry

I like Caius too, if just because MM managed to make a character out of him purely from the way he told us his name. And the fact he did tell it to us at all, since it wasn't a command - we asked him nicely. XD; I do hope he's still okay.
