You take one of the larger metal pieces from one of the boxes, and toss it at the vent cover. No sparks, no unusual sound. It appears to be safe, at least from being electrified.

You also peek into the open door at the end of the hall.

ooo, lockers. double ooo, a fire extinguisher. looks like more storage, like the office. the boxes are probably more useless bits of junk, but check them anyways. the lockers might have useful stuff in them, they don't look old and faded like the rest of the place. i have a really dumb idea, though: what if we take the fire extinguisher, grab the wheelie chair from the office, and launch ourselves backwards on the chair at the door? if it's a push bar, we might hit it and force it open. but, there's a chance there might be dudes in there. if we want to play it safe, we should just go through the vent.

You know what? If no one objects to that plan, I'm fatally curious to see where that goes. Don't take this as my vote of support; I don't think that is necessary. But goddamn, that would be a sight!

I'll raise an objection if someone else does. Otherwise, good job Mochi.

there are SO MANY WAYS it could go wrong but it would be SO FUCKING FUNNY if it worked.

Just visualising that plan has me crying with stitches :'DDD the creativity of it is MAX but the potential catastrophe has me reluctantly pointing out that maaaybe it isn't such a good idea without a handy 'reload state' button XD;;;

But fire extinguisher sounds like a useful thing to carry around if because a) it can be use as a bludgeoning weapon and b) we can douse Fuse if he accidentally lights himself on fire XD

... I can't stop laughing about that wheelie plan *crying again*

This, but use various blood powers/straps/etc to make the clown be in the chair, in case it doesn't work.
Also... How much force does a fire extinguisher really have? Probably not that much.
Probably save it for later in case we need a distraction or a way to deter a jerk or put out a fire.
Also throw metal bits at anything potentially electrically trapped... The loot it.

we already got him killed, now we're going to desecrate his body? though, it is a better idea than throwing our protagonist into an electrified door. we could probably use bandages to hold the trigger down. also, the pressure inside a carbon dioxide fire extinguisher can get close to 6000 kPa. that's a substantial amount of force.

Also, uh...
"Most of the bartender."
If possible figure out what's missing? If not oh well.

It's possible there's a bio printer around.
Enyo locked us in this warehouse, and I'm getting a feeling it's not just to keep us out of the way, because of the military grade tech to do it.
I have a feeling there's something they don't want to get out, or at least get out yet.
They might be trying to find a way to convert humans to more Queen, or may have done so already, like the monster at the end of chap. 1.
...Soylent Green, etc., anyone?
