You check in the trunk of your car. You never drive it, after all, you have no idea what's in it.

In the trunk are jumper cables, a jack, and a lug wrench. No alien guns or eggs or anything, sadly. You also tend to Fuse's arm, making sure its taken care of properly, rather than the improvised way it was.

You stop off for pizza before heading to Dr. Finch's place. Michelle insists on not calling ahead. He'll love the surprise, she says, like you don't know better.

"What in the name of--"

"FINCH THERE'S NO TIME, WE GOTTA KIDNAP A GUY!," Michelle shouts across his living room. Dr. Finch nearly jumps out of his coat. "WHAT?!" "I know! It's crazy! It's been a crazy day!"

It manages to get a laugh out of Fuse, at least. You introduce Fuse and Dr. Finch, and explain the situation properly. The whole situation. All of it. Plus the details you missed during your phone call earlier.

By the end of your story about vent hermits, talking spaceships, and Michelle nearly strangling you, Dr. Finch... well, looks tired just hearing about it. "My... my my my. To think I've just been in the lab all day. Well, I have surgical masks here if you think that would sufficiently mask your identity."

Fuse is genuinely stunned. "You're really cool with all this? Aliens, breaking into a nightclub, the whole nine?"

Dr. Finch thinks about it a second... and then nods. "Yes, yes I suppose I am. Don't get me wrong, it's a terrible idea and these circumstances are nightmarish, but that foul son of a bitch needs to pay. So, whatever help I can provide, I'm here."

That... that sounds a bit too affected for a man of science. Maybe Jane's blood is getting to him.
Try syncing with everyone, keep their alien blood up-to-date with your Red's current state.

Also, brainstorm a plan. Anyone got that place's schematics online ?

To be fair, Dr. Finch energetically sprayed us in the face with lemon detergent the moment we met him. Also, he hid in a washing machine. I mean, all for extremely practical reasons of course, but... he's kind of... eccentric. XD; But I don't see the harm in checking everyone out blood-wise!

Well, Jane did the same thing to survive the first door-crushing creature (hide in whatever was in the room, cover her scent).
He already knew that the ongoing crisis was targetting someone specifically. That's enough to put anyone in a weird mood.

Now he had a few weeks to relax and science up Jane's blood. I'd expect him to feel less angry about it. Or maybe he really loved working at the hospital, and the queen-controller ruining that is his beef.

Hmm, true. I guess I kind of thought he'd be pretty angry because, well, this thing is trying to turning humanity into living puppets and he very well nearly got killed by its intentions and only made it through with a blood transfusion from Jane? :'D He might be taking it rather personally on humanity's behalf too, since like you said he worked at the hospital, so maybe given his investment in life-giving science this sort of abuse just totally offends him. Hmm.

In general though when it comes to motivation, all of these characters do have some personal investment in the situation but I also believe all of them just have hearts of gold XD

Keep in mind, he is, by all current accounts, the only person who worked at the hospital who hasn't died.
(Thanks, (...Jane? Blondie? She mentioned knowing her name but not wanting to tell it to someone, but I can't remember if we've ever heard it...) for making the wording of that sentence so complicated! >:( )

Some of the staff might've had the day off. S'not like everyone goes to work every day.

Yay, let's grab some masks for future use.

Let's eat the pizza. And maybe take a 30 minute power nap (Fuse in particular, since his firepower *snrk* is influenced by how stressed he is) because this has been crazy and we have some time. And then I guess we'd better talk about the details of this wonderful-terrible heist idea. :D

Michelle may not be able to join us in the vents, but she can certainly help stand guard outside to make sure no one gets in after us. Dr. Finch on standby is always super helpful. Is Fuse good enough of a hacker to check out the CCTV or any other security gizmos they have at the nightclub, so we have a better idea of where the camera blindspots are? Any way of procuring a map (or blueprint) of the club?

Sorry for the barrage of questions XD;

With the blue baseball cap on Jane the surgical mask will pretty much cover up her face. Other than that she's on the most wanted list of whatever cult Queen's running she's pretty much wall flower material.... probably. She should change her clothes from what Queen last saw her in though. .... maybe put on some "deal with it" style sunglasses
.... wow that's big. Ok that one's better sized for this.
Point's to obscure as much of your features as possible really.

Probably should get a ski mask or something for Michelle and Fuse.... wish we kept one of the dirty cop's uniforms. they looked about Michelle's size.

Other than that.... we're going to need some other gear. Zipties, some guns... Probably won't be entering through the main door so some explosives to make our own entrance would also be in order.

Probably can take a day or more to gather the gear before heading over.... well so long as they don't recognize Michelle's truck wherever it's been parked.

Hmmmm.... oh does Finch have any Level Fuse can have? He's probably going to need some for this.

Right, just in case this slipped everyone else's notice, the guy seems to be there every day after 12 am, peak midnight hours. We don't have to get him today. probably shouldn't wait around to do it longer than a week, but he's likely still going to be tomorrow so it's best not to half ass this. Seeing as going in unprepared is how party members die and all.
