You give Michelle a hug. It's a little difficult because she's very large. She hesitates, at first, and then hugs you back.

You grab a picture of Mom, just in case.

You put the vent cover back on.

You take one last look around the house for anything useful. It doesn't seem like your parents owned any firearms. No medicine, aside from generic headache pills and sinus medication. You toss out food that may be expiring soon, since you're not sure when you'll be back.

You and Michelle have some ice cream.

Mmm, ice cream.

Might as well grab the headache medication. You probably don't need it anymore, but it can't hurt to be prepared.

If our blood can learn how to do things from Save the Queen, maybe it can learn how to do things from other drugs, too. We could make ourselves an analgesic by studying the headache medication, perhaps? Given how things have been going, being able to dull pain with our blood will probably be a very useful skill.

Possibly, but note that Queen is special - it's a mix of actual hallucinogenic drug made from blood + someone's (poor) attempt at making a remote-controlling shapechanging component.

I don't think normal drugs (that Jane surely took before this whole mess began) do anything... or maybe that was before, and now she can refine her Red into anything.
Maybe ask her about it ?

Yeah, I figure now that we've "awakened," basically, we can probably learn a lot more things. Maybe we've kinda "unlocked" our blood's ability to mimic things, and now we can learn to mimic more things.

I don't think the headache medicine can protect against brain-freeze. ;P

Well.... Off to the arcade then I guess. It's within walking distance of Jane's place if I remember right.

Take both medications. Our blood's ability to copy blood and medication will no doubt come in handy.

Welcome back Morg! Good to see you doin stuff.
Something for the other commenters to think on, the "Teeth" who keep asking which of our friends we'd be ok with killing might not have been our Red. It might be SaveTheQueen's Red. We have a small amount of STQ in us. They might be sending us messages in blood-speak and or telepathically like we can.

Could it really ?
Jane's Red reacted strongly to it and can now force the mimicking component "offline". Also she essentially regenerated her entire body from scratch after being bagged - probably without any Queen inside.
Red's dislike of human fragility also fits with the smile's armour-piercing question.

I don't think it's from the enemy.
