Just out of curiosity, you try one more thing--your normal, original bone armor ritual on a meat wall outside. You reason it could have a different result than the prototype, messy bone ritual did.

After making another wall, another series of symbols, another mouth... and having it utter the incantation...

you discover that no, the results are pretty much the same. It's substantially less horrifying, but the bone armor still forms... kind of all over the place. Mostly inside the wall, and not in a way that's conducive to reinforcing the wall. ...Or keeping the wall whole.

You ask if anyone's tired, or needs to be woken up more. Everyone shakes their heads.

"I'm ready to throw down," Caius remarks.

"Same," Michelle adds. "I'm too worked up about gettin' in there and savin' the Griz to be thinkin' about naps."

"We've got a list of things to worry about..." Fuse starts, "I don't think a lack of adrenaline's gonna be one of them."

You ask if anyone has any questions, anything to add... or any idea what the exit strategy will be.

"Uh, get back in tha hummer and drive away," Caius replies.

Michelle chuckles. "I mean... yeah. Basically. We shoot our way in, we shoot our way out. And burn, and punch, and whatever else we end up doin'."

Fuse sighs. "We should really have more than that, but... fuck if I know what we're really getting into here."

Dr. Finch speaks up. "For how much preparation we've done, it does feel as though we're quite blind still. Thale will have something lined up as a contingency--he has to. We can only hope we're capable of dealing with that when the time comes."

Once you poison the monster under the church, the clock will start ticking--there won't be any going back, at that point. You'll have until your homemade toxin kicks in to contact Jury, drive toward the church, begin setting up the walls, and so on.

If you have any last minute preparations to make, this is the time. Otherwise...

"We're ready when you are," Michelle says.

*Bring Lumpy still with the 'upgraded' bone armor circle (he won't be wearing it yet)
*Get the team ready and what role they'll have, probably still the main strike team with us, Michelle, Caius, and Fuse, and Finch (and with Liz now) providing ground control
*If possible, Finch should study the bloody pages and Geonangular Control while we're striking, who knows, maybe he'll find a last minute spell that'll be really useful?
*Get our supplies ready, guns, ammo, bone bombs, etc.
*One last check on all our animal scouts before we get ready to head out

If there are no more preparations, we might wanna drive a bit closer (not too close) before administering the toxin, and wait in the hummer for the thing to kick in so we get better time

Time to kick in some doors, then! Did we decide who the getaway driver should be? If we don't want to bring the more fragile members for the job, we might want to leave Jane in the car, since the blood powers have no maximum range, and we've already infested the building. Although, on the other hand, Jane's a lot less mortal than the others, so maybe Fuse ought to drive?

Jane has her needle gun, if we blood people we'll have more people with guns on our side. I guess we could also give it to lumpy, though. Of course, the needle gun might be a sign of magic that we shouldn't be using in public or on camera.

Perhaps we could have Finch wait at a distance with the motor cycle, just in case?

Fuse's pyromancy is good to have around. I'm thinking we could light the cameras on fire so as to not end up live on tv.

People on the Discord are saying we should blood the hummer, get our ichor all up in the car's computery bits. I second this motion.

Also, we should bring Finch along to sit in the car, so we can make a much quicker getaway. He'll also be able to stabilize us with complex medical maneuvers, others are saying. Also Caius will have something worth fighting for

We should check with Michelle if it's cool for us to mess with her skin pigmentation as a disguise - Her face is going to be covered up, but authorities might be able to make an educated guess, y'know? It's better to not have federal eyes on our hummer.

Hmmmm. Hmm hmm hmm. Eat food, drink water, and make sure everybody's gone to the bathroom before we go.

Two blood portals, see if we can move something between them, just a quick check, by feeling them. If so, keep that tidbit tucked away for an emergency. If not, something to practice when there's more time.

Yes. Some type of non essential test object shoild be passed from location to location of we can find the portals and link them together.

Having the a/v hack run from inside would be so much better. A thumb drive with a copy of the software would be helpful if it could get plugged into the equipment at the start.

Items of note to take: Warehouse masks as disguise (clown, welding, tiger and heart helmet), tinfoil hat, rubber gloves (I'd say rubber boots as well but we don't have any), tracer tracker (for Grizwald), flashlights, rope (just in case, if it doesn't encumber us), air filtration masks, bone ram for hummer (if we have time/energy).

In the interest of trying to coordinate things:
We should make sure both ourselves and Jury's strike force are in position to strike at the ~45 minutes mark when the poison takes effect. Jury should keep the phone line open so we can make sure to give her eyes above in case Thale tries anything on them below. Jane should NOT drive as the meat shield for Grizwald will take her full concentration let alone the meat walls; all of which should be activated just before we are visible from the building to make sure they have zero time to react. Likewise, if we're not attacking the media room, Fuse can't drive so he can get his hack off before we arrive as well.
Once we arrive and ram the front door, we should all immediately pile out and go straight for the sanctuary. If it still has a guard in the hallway/by the door, try blooding him; that'll tell us if those other guards are Queened or not and what we should be expecting. Otherwise Michelle and Fuse on range attacks and Caius can charge straight for Grizwald. Jane should actually hang back and keep an eye on our six/the hummer; not only that, she can try modifying/adding meat walls as necessary and may need to be able to concentrate to modify Grizwald's meat shield. Since Grizwald doesn't know the incantation, it may be best to keep Grizwald in/under the meat shield if possible until we get him to the hummer. Also I'm hoping as long as Jane is not with the rescue group in the sanctuary, Thale will not pull out any ace/desperation plays as Jane won't get caught up in them.
After doing the Patton Thale test with Grizwald and with him in the hummer (Jane might need to sit in Caius's lap if it's crowded, not Michelle's lap as she may need to shoot out of the car), we should drive straight away. We should setup a rat in the tunnels just to make extra sure we aren't being followed and drive past that point. Check in with Jury to make sure she doesn't need any extra support; also point out that IF they can clear out that huge monster, there is a direct path leading from where the monster is in the tunnels to Hope's church and that might give her leverage to arrest him (and take possession of that safe in his study). Do the usual drive around to make sure we're not being followed, and then enjoy tinfoil hats, beer, and victory dinner (still say chicken pot pie because "winner winner chicken dinner").

Our complete plan hinges on us being able to take out the big monster from inside.

Thale is certain we can do nothing about it.

While he's not the best judge of our ability, I still want to say this: The big monster is … weird. We saw only a tiny bit of it, and it had eyes and lips in places it shouldn't have. Thale speaks of it as some kind of ultimate trump card. Is "being big" all there is to it?

Suggestion: Do we have any contingency plans in case poison /bug from the inside doesn't work?

Playing around _a little_ with blood portaling and having explosives of some sort on hand when we get going might be advisable. If the monster is immune to our toxin, an explosion from the inside might just do the trick.

Also: What do we do if the monster doesn't want to eat our headless dead guy?

We don't need an answer to all that before we get going, as I'm pretty sure it'll all work out as Thale doesn't expect us to have all this intel on the church, but having a thought or two prepared in case it does go south after all might not be a bad idea.

Also: What happens when a big monster eats radioactive ammunition?

We should put some blood eggs in each of the bunkers. Just in case.

If we're concerned about surprises, we could check the error room one last time with a poison bug to see if it would work.

Entering the ERROR Room with a Bug sounds like a good idea XD.
Before going, let's go to that room, and while we are at it, the rest must prepare food. With all the adrenaline, I bet nobody really knows if they are Hungry or not XD.

The error room shows things that won't happen. What if the act of entering the error room somehow changes causality and prevents our plan from working?

I'm just saying, we don't fully understand it.

Should try the bone armor ritual on another meatwall later. Maybe it would work better if the meatwall's structure was a bit less... Patchwork?
Something to work on next freetime we get, anyways.

So, if both tatoos are present, is the chant different? Can the armor level be selected?
