You tell Caius to take the magazine... but you strongly advise against reading it. It may be a key of some kind, or it could be a trap.

Caius acquires the cat magazine.

You check the open soda machine--the sodas are probably far from drinkable, at this point, but that doesn't mean they're useless. The smell of ancient soda could be useful, if you keep fighting old hospital monsters.

You peek into the next room, and chuck a meatball to help you scout it out.

It's... very dark, through most of it. It looks like a number of the ceiling lights have been shut off.

You definitely hear movement in the shadows, but you can't tell what it is. You can't perceive much through your meatball.

Like the time we tried to charge the camera, can we convert the meatball into electricity? Even if it's just a spark, we might catch a glimpse of what's there.

Gee. I wonder what it could be.

Prepare for an acid/laser shooting bioprinter monster. Maybe have Fuse light up the area with fire?

Yeah, as long as the monster's the only thing in there, Fuse may as well set the whole room on fire.

The dark room might have two or more monsters in it. Remember, the previous two rooms had two threats each as well: Vertebro was accompanied by the acid walls, and the brainy dude had the laser eye as backup.

Probably poison-Vasquez and the bioprinter abomination.
The lighting is terrible. We can't see them but they can see the entryway easily. Even with smell or sound, we'll be bunched up in the same area and easy targets.
Gotta find a way to light things up consistently in there.

If we build a shield for Caius, consider modifying his leggings to give him extra grip - protection is useless if he topples over from a surprise impact.

Looks like the end of the level.
Since I'm likely asleep when it happens I will already vote now for ending the dungeon crawl.
Floor 1 can wait until after we rescued Grizwald.

Try a flashlight to see into the darkness.
In case we don't have one make one in the red.
When fishes can make themselves glow in the dark then it should be possible to make something.

Make a big Shield of dense bone covered in keratin for Caius, we may need it for what's there XD.
After that, take your time to create a bunch of mini-golems we can sent into the dark. Even if we can't see, we can notice if there is something and how big is it if is covered in mini-golems XD.

It was discussed before, right? Caius was the most injured because he was the melee. And in a Dungeon with the tematic of acid... A big Shield that can make use of his Great strenght, and Protect us of a possible Acid-Cannon sounds like a good idea to me XD.

Hmm, the smelling monster could see you if it got a close look. Shining light down the darkness could be very bad.

Perhaps we don't need to kill this one. If we shoot the lights in this room and make everyone smell like soda, we could lure the monster through this room to the one with the acid walls using meat golems. Then we can just get our stuff and get out.

Fuse, could you provide some kind of light?

Whatever's in there, I think we'd be better off fighting it in here with our laser eye, so I think we should try baiting it into this room. Let's find out what it is first, though.

Hmm, I guess to see if this thing actually does respond to smell, we could make two simple meat golems. One that smells like person and another that we coat in soda. If the person smelling meat golem is killed and the other one isn't, the thing goes off smell.

+1 to cola golem. Try to make it across towards the chest, but rig the thing to bone shard explode if damaged.
Expect said chest to be trapped and potentially have a false bottom, nothing may happen until opened, then we have a Huge spider drop down in the dark or some such.

A reminder that the original bioprinter monster would eat and mulch biomass. I'm concerned if we, "feed," it meat golems, it'll give the monster ammo that, given the theme of this place, will allow the monster to fire off an acid cannon.
For that reason, I'm actually thinking we should coat a meat golem in old cola AND light it on fire and send it in. Hopefully those two aspects combined will make it inedible and allow us to see what we're dealing with.

Also if one of those soda machines can be pried from the wall, it'd be nice to have cover for once. In addition we know the eye laser can pierce, it'd allow Caius and Michelle to try to hold the monster back while we take potshots with the eye laser and try to hit something vital.

EDIT: Also I'll say now, make certain to thoroughly check that darkened ceiling for ambush monster-hands before going through the darkness.

We could throw a few soda cans into the darkness. If fuse set them on fire, we might see what is there.
We also have pieces of assorted monsters we could throw in there.
