As the huge monster flies through the air, you have your bony monster stab into the ceiling and pull itself up. The creature with the claws lands with a heavy thud, and you stab it square in the brain with your monster's tail end.

Teeth in the big beast's belly hiss. The monster squirms, still moving, even as your monster thrashes its jagged tail around inside the brain.

The eye halfway down the hall begins to light up. Your monster still has one limb free--you have it whip that arm outward in an attempt to kill the eye before it can do... whatever it's doing.

The end of the bone whip does not quite get there. With a flash, the pupil unleashes some kind of thin beam, like a laser. With pinpoint precision, it blasts straight through one end of your monster and out the other.

The huge monster begins to struggle, having difficulty pulling the bone skewer out of its brain with its bulky claws.

Hide behind the big one and try to get the eye to laser it

Assuming we still have control of our monster, this seems to be the best possible idea.

try to blood the big monster and have it kill the eye.

Ooh, yeah. Let's move the blood that's in our brain down into the other beast, while cutting off the brain from the boney one.

Really need to blind/kill that eye. I think Jane should blind-fire from around the door using our monster to aim and perceive and blood control to guide the syringe.
If the eye is able to fire again too quickly, level Fuse and see if he can burn it over with a similarly quick in-and-out attack.

Keep hacking away at the other monster's brain with our monster. Possibly have Caius ready to guard/grapple if absolutely necessary (let's hope it won't be) if meat ape decides to go after Jane and the gang.

Upon (assumed) victory, we should raid the Soda Cola™ machines just like in the old days.

Do we have anything reflective? might work as a beam decoy or refocuser. If not have Caius throw the sink from the other room at it, then make it a bloodshot eye.
Those cola machines may be a hubris trap. Expect them to be explosive and sentient. Also ware the hole, you don't see the stone that trips you.

Swing around to the front of the monster while pulverizing it's brain, then move into kill the eye.

Also Move in and blood the monster.

Try to bait the eye into shooting the big beast, if possible.

Note for the future: figure out how to produce eye lasers. Maybe blood the eye to figure out how it does it?

Seconded (using Blue_Elite's guided syringe idea)

... although if we learn how, only use extra eyes we create, because shooting lasers out of the organ you use to see with is a really dumb idea.

It has problems moving and is in Front of the door, is time to Blood it XD. Use the Blood-Gun to take control of this bastard.
And while we take control, hide our Monster in the back of the big Monster, so the eye can't see were to shoot.
PurpleKetchup 8th May 2018, 9:53 PM edit delete reply
Err... blood the behemoth while it's confused, use it to destroy the laser eye ?

After this room, we may want to think if we want to continue or cash out with whatever prize we get for thus far.
ReikoLupus 8th May 2018, 10:31 PM edit delete reply
I vote to Cash Out. This places is even more dangerous than what I thought. Even if we can complete the next floors with what we have, it is an innecesary risk, and it's going to take a lot of time if we do it carefully (Like the way we MUST do it to survive XD)
Blue_Elite 8th May 2018, 11:52 PM edit delete reply
I may be wrong, but I think this is ALL floor 0. These are gauntlet-style challenges, not single encounters. Note we're moving horizontally, not vertically.
I believe we'll be done once we encounter the bioprinter monster (judging from this place's theme).
Actually, that monster looks kinda like a bioprinter-less bioprinter monster. Maybe it's in its dumbed down form as a part of actually giving us a chance to win this, seeing as we don't have a bomb to feed it this time.

But agreed. Once we're done we're done for today. This certainly was a good learning experience and hopefully (if we decide to do floor 1) we'll be much better prepared next time (get Caius some figgin' indestructible gauntlets and a shield, he's getting hurt way more than the others due to being the melee person).

Some grenades or flashbangs could be useful if the room structures stay similar, too. Especially for all these eyeballs.
Memo 9th May 2018, 12:32 AM edit delete reply
I agree. Specially since we were informed we would be done with a level when we reach the elevator. We have yet to do that.
Some armour gloves seems like a really good idea.
Ablaze 8th May 2018, 10:33 PM edit delete reply
This isn't a 2d adventure, you can now see the monster through the doorway! Shoot it, blood it, set it on fire! Have the brain hold it from entering your room. Deal with the eye after.

Reminds me of the laser eye statues in Link to the Past. :o Shame we don't have a mirror shield...

Anyone else noticed the mouse holes around this level? I know it's a moot point this time, but we should bring a furry scout next time we try to clear a level.
